Why do companies choose to alienate even the smallest percentage of webmasters with tactics like this?

From the Mediatickets site:
Best Stragitied to Get Webmasters: 1) Contact Big Websites Directly. Do you know any websites with a large amount of traffic? Go to these websites and find their "contact us" info. Get an e-mail or phone number and contact the owner of these websites to tell them about MediaTickets. Discuss the highlights described below. 2) Post on Webmaster Message Boards. Let hundreds of webmasters know about MediaTickets and get those webmasters to sign up through your link. In your post, discuss the highlights detailed below and provide your link 3) Contact Webmasters You Are Friends With. Let your friends know about MediaTickets and why you decided to sign up. Discuss the highlights located below. oh here's my code: http://www.mediatickets.net/registra...ml?refUID=1331 haw haw haw haw |

Reminds me of the dude asking if I "need an adult dialer solution'. Twice in the same day.

Everyone seems to cry about spam but most if not all do some form of it in one way or another.
My question to you is: When is it just a sales pitch? After all we are all in business to sell something weather it be yourself , your program or your services. What is the best way to aproach a webmaster?

Doubt they care.. the owners of the program were doing the same shit to me.
I even gave it a try, but wasn't getting a good download rate so I figured 10 bucks a day isn't worth it. |
