The anxiety is me looking straight up into the leaves, and being aware of all the individual movements, the spaces between leaves, etc.

I force myself to look straight ahead at all the other trees and ignore the details, just take the forest for what it is. Millions of different leaves that are outside of my control and don't need to be observed.

I know when you're in the middle of an attack, it seems impossible to get out of it, and it sounds ludicrous, but mind over matter is no joke.

I had some issues but they have been resolved since I cut down on caffeine. Do you drink a lot of caffeine?

I got prescribed Paxil and that was the absolute worst decision of my life. When I went to quit, I had intense withdrawls. With any of those drugs, ask about the withdrawls if you stop and DO NOT let them just say, "well, just see me when you want to quit and we will ween you off."

Becareful man... This shit can really get you fucked up. Very addictive and doesn't help anxiety. You will see in time you will start to have more and more panic attacks and they will get worst. Reason will be because your body will start to rely on the drug and trigger panic attacks so you can take your xanax.

When and if you decide to quit you will feel very bad like you are dieing. You will not be able to sleep unless you take something else like other pills or beer which will not solve your aniety problems as well.

Trust me man... I don't post much but am posting here because it's no fun and think you should take into consideration what you are doing.

Fuck that. I read all about that shit before I got on paxil.

I followed my doctors instructions and hand no problems getting on or off paxil. (Paxil only has a 7 hour hour halflife wich is much shorter than xanax and supposedly causes teens to commit suicide).

THe problem with your statments if that you cannot quantify them AT ALL. Whos to say the drug casued your panic to worsen. The problem is that the cross section of poeple who are perscribed these drugs are the exact group of people who are more suceptable to paranoia and shit about using them.

I was on paxil for like eight months and it helped. After I was off it I realized that I never had any unwarented anxiety about social situations. The ONLY anxiety that was increased during my usage of paxil WAS CREATED BY MY MIND AND THE SHIT I READ ABOUT IT.

I was an acid user a long time ago so I'm no stranger to the effects of seratoinin tampering. And I can almost gurentee that 99% of poeple would have no problem using a SSRI or similar medication... becasue the chemical changes they make are very small and not the type of thing that will totally Fuck you up and create problems you didnt have before.

I often read shit about people with crazy ass symptoms from withdrawl and the "I Feel like im dying" comments. Well... its simple. Lower your dosage slowly. The halflife of xanex is almost 2 weeks if I'm not mistaken.

The only REAL danger I believe in after using PAXIL for eight months is that long term use of the drug over many years will create a psycological dependancy. Essentially choosing to exist with the seritonin crutch. There is also some evidence to support that use of 10 years+ may caused damage to nerves in the brian becasue repeated "overfiring" of nurons casued by extra seritonin can casue the body to think nerves in the brain are damaged.

I'm pretty sure its this occupation, sitting at a computer screen for insane periods of time over many years has psychological consequences. Seems a huge proportion of webmasters suffer from anxiety related problems...I don't think it is a coincidence?
