!Boring! According to Your Stats, what is the most used resolution?
Doing a new design today and right now it seems the most used res according to my stats is 1024X768. How about you guys? I'm trying to figure out which res I should develope a new site for. A lot of people suggest 800x600, but then it just looks like ass at my res. (1280x1024) Opinions?

1024x768 51% 800x600 37% 1280x1024 5% Why alienate almost 40% of your visitors? |

49% 1024x768
35% 800x600 8% 1280x1024 4% 1152x864 2% 1600x1200 2% 640x480 <1% 1920x1440 I would design it for 800x600. Keep in mind that most of the surfers out there have shitty outdated computers... Also keep in mind that most are still using dial up. That is an easy one to forget. |
