Oh yea the Radeon 9800's are about to drop big time in prices, since the new x800(r420) cards will be out soon.

I build my own. Been a hobby since PC's first came out.

Get this book by Scott Mueller. Upgrading And Repairing PC's.

Its fantastic and covers every single aspect of PC's. Its a big book with 1,574 pages, but you'll find info you never knew in there about all the components that go into making PC's work from A to Z.

Que Publishing has more info here.

http://upgradingandrepairingpcs.com/

This is a must have book if you love building your own PC's.
