new customer wants 1 minute splits in mpeg...we do this all the time and use hahahahahahas batch encoder that does them all at once....can't find a program that does a batch of mpeg's at one time...help!!

You may be lookin for this:

AVI MPEG ASF WMV Splitter

It will split your MPEG movies into whatever size or times you want.

I'm not sure if you are looking to just split or batch encode which are two different things.

TMPGEncode is great for encoding mpegs and you can split as well. If you are just looking to split then use the tool mentioned above in the post before mine.

Cleaner XL is the easiest batch encoder but TGMPEncode is free.

If what you need is to simply split an already compressed mpg video into minute long clips without tweaking anything else, your easiest bet would be Easy Video Splitter. A buddy of mine suggested it to me when I needed something similar and this thing lives up to it's name. It's extremely easy to use and lightning fast.
