What (if any) book are you reading?

Global Brain -- Howard Bloom

Very interesting look at microbiology and the global networking programmed into the brain at the microbe level.

I'm sadly wondering if there are going to be any more. She's getting to be close to 90.

"The Bone Pickers" by Al Dewlen.

it's supposed to be the unflattering (fictionalized) story of one of the big cattle/oil familes from my home town. when it first came out the family bought up all the copies, except the one my dad has. always meant to read it and now i am.

excellent, I read the Lucifer Principle about 6 years ago.. wouldn't mind getting Global Brain.

I've just read 21 dog years by mike daisey, about his time at amazon.com during the tech bubble.. pretty funny for anyone working at a tech company during the late 90's..
Stumbled across it in one of those discount book stores while waiting for someone.. not bad for $5.

I have the Lucifer Principle in my library just haven't got around to reading it. How was it? He seems to have some decent theories on things imho.
