anyone using trillian have any problems with MSN using it? everything else works fine, AIM, Yahoo, etc. but MSN just does not seem to work with it any more. could be on MSN's end maybe...

Never had problems with it.
I'd use Gaim but there's no skins like the one I need and Trillian does have it.

I run trillian with all connections (AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN & Yahoo) & it works fine.

maybe check the trillian site for updates?

Trillian quit working for my Yahoo account and MSN lost my contact list so lately I'm not even running an IM. I keep ICQ around for occasional pre-arranged conversations, but I'd rather deal with e-mail whenever possible

I've had some problems in the past with MSN, but everything is usually fine. I've been using Trillian for several years now with very few problems. AIM used to do things to intentionaly make third-party clients stop working, but that hasn't happened in at least a year or more.

just went to the site and downloaded the patch they have and it fixed the issue with MSN for me

Im having troulbes connecting to icq and msn too... I tried to go to support, but thats like looking for a needle in a hay stack...

Yeah it's PERFECT. You can even export your history to XML html word etc etc :-)

You can download MANY plugins... I have the

Quicksearch one(for finding contacts on the list)
History ++
Weather (shows the current weather+forecast)

I love Trillian Pro, I had some problems with the free version, before I broke the bank for the pro version. I haven't had any problems since.

i hated trillian at first but once you get used to it, its great. i dont understand why people want 4 different messaging programs running when you can only have one?
