The real value of typein domains

So here`s the question..
How do you determine the value of a type in domain you`re trying to buy?

For example if the owner wants 500$ for a certain domain how can you get a rough estimate of the type ins he gets daily?
i know overture is one..but what keywords do you check in overture? If the domain is www.teenpics.com do you check "teen pics" , "teenpics" or "teenpics.com" ?

And what its considered a good amount of type ins for a domain?
i`m lookin to buy some type in domains but i have no idea how to start checking their value. I dont want to end up with some shitty domain and pay alot of money.

If a domain gets 100 type ins daily, how much should it cost?
i know that depends on the niche too but i want some rough numbers...

So domain gurus, i`m waiting for your answers.. any help is appreciated

It's valued at what the highest bidder is willing to dish out for it, and what that bidder is wishing dish out for it depends on their knowledge of the niche/industry it is involved with and whether or not they know if they could receive more money from another party or make more money off of the domain by developing it themselves or partnering with another person. Do you like long sentences? I do.

Cheers,
Matt
