Despite what everyone has said, Darren James has been a total stand-up guy. He got tested every 3 weeks instead of every 4, immediately gave a list of who else he had worked with, and has cooperated completely. I wish we could say the same for Laura Roxxx. People here have been beating down Darren James when he has been a MAN about this whole bad situation instead of running away.

If it were me, I probably would have committed suicide. I hope that isn't the direction he chooses to go. Hopefully he is just taking some quiet time to think by himself or with his loved ones. I wish him the best.

First thing. Darren didn't provide a complete list of who he worked with. At least one name was added 3 days after the story broke. He didn't remember ever girl apparently and his producers were of no help.

Some of the performers and producers in this industry really are woefully uninformed about the realities of aids. Sad but true. If any producer in LA started shooting using prostitutes, and didn't use condoms or get tests for the prostitutes, he would almost certainly be blacklisted by every other company in the business. Hell he'd probably be blacklisted by most people even if he did use condoms and get tests. Prostitutes have a very significantly higher incidence of HIV. Mark Anthony said he checked on the internet and found that Brazil had no higher rate of infection than the US. Actually they are slightly higher but not significantly. However he apparently forgot that they were shooting with prostitutes and even if they did get tests for the girls they were very unlikely to be reliable. Very unlikely.

Hepatitis B considered 1000 times more infectious but it's very hard to catch from kissing such a virus. You should worry much more about hospitals, your visits to dentist etc.

There is an urgent need obviously for some real education of adult webmasters about hiv and how you can and cannot catch it.

1)You're not going to get infected from kissing someone with hiv.
Even if you french kiss. One reason is that they have discovered that SALIVA has properties that actually KILLS the hiv virus. The scientists for years have been trying to figure out what it is, but haven't been able to come up with the answer yet. Plus the virus itself is a very "fragile" virus and dies within 2 mins at the most once exposed to oxygen. Another reason why the mouth is not a breeding ground for hiv. Hiv has been found in saliva, but so far there's not been one case that I know of where it was transmitted to another person. It's as if the virus was "rendered" inert in the saliva.

2)Oral sex is "safer" but by NO MEANS absolutely safe when it comes to transmission of the virus. Of all the cases reported and hahahahahahahahaed in hiv infection, way less than 10% was through oral sex. (A cut in the mouth, or a cut on the penis). It only has to be a microabrasion to get infected, and that's why anal sex is by far the most dangerous form of unprotected sex you can have.


3)And men don't have to have gay sex to catch the virus.
