Are any of you Anemic?
I found out last night my mother is anemic. She received her test results yesterday afternoon.
Now see, the thing with my mother is, she stopped eating meat out of nowhere a few years ago. I would warn her all the time of what could happen if she doesn't replace the supplements she needs. She told me she was eating lots of beans to make up for it. I've been researching this for the past few hours and I can't seem to find the answers to some questions I have. So, I was wondering if maybe anyone of you have anemia or a family member, or friend. I'm been trying to find out if beans are in fact a sufficient supplement. And if so, what types of beans because I know my mom doesnt eat a variety of them. Also, once you are anemic, is it reversable? If you can increase your red blood cell count by introducing a lot of Vitamin B12 into your body, will this one day not make you anemic anymore? Thanks Tamara |
