The purpose of life is... to end.

Well, I finally saw Matrix Revolutions tonight.

I'm undecided on what I thought of it. The special effects were awesome and the final fight scene rocked but the last 5 mins or so of the movie sucked. I'm gonna have to watch it again to let everything sink in.

Did everyone else here hate it? Because that's the general opinion I've heard.

Anyone else think there might be more Matrix movies? The end seemed kinda open ended.

Didn't hate it. But I was definately disappointed in it. Reloaded gave me so much to expect that Revolutions just didn't deliver.

I LOVED The Matrix. Reloaded disappointed me a little. Revolutions was better, but I was still left somewhat empty or something. I liked it alot, but it wasn't quite what I hoped.

The matrix was kick ass but Reloaded and Revolutions disappointed me in comparison!

I expected the second two would not live up to the first movie, but i did like the fight scene, and i guess they took the storyline a good way as i wouldnt be able to think of a way to end it.

Good for entertainment

I haven't seen Revolutions because Reloaded ruined it for me. The first one still stands by itself as a great flick.

But spill the beans -- why exactly could Neo stop the evil flying robot machines "outside" the matrix at the end of Reloaded?

There wasn't enough to think about the in second and third movies. They were mostly mindless special effects and action. The first movie had alot of depth and hidden meanings and I just didn't get that with the other two.

Reloaded hinted at some sub plots. Maybe a Matrix within a Matrix...the reason why he could control machines in real world. Atleast thats what I thought. You know the "Control" they were all talking about.

Revolutions didn't even answer most of the questions Reloaded brought up.

Then there was Trinity dying permanately and Neo going blind. Revolutions plot line just seemed like it was rushed...

I think it was rushed too. Another 30-60 mins would have been nice. Or cut down other scenes, like Trinity's death, the war in the docks or the train station chit chat.

Matrix action rocks! I don't think that there will be an addition to the series. They have to end on a hig note...the part 2 sucked, and they redeemed themselves on the final film.
