If you could lie as well as she does Eros, you could be a trillionaire! Must be the glass ceiling holding her back... or her hahahaha language that gives her away so blatently.

What do think she is going to lie about?

Have you actually started believing the politcal inuendos that Bush caused the attacks of 9/11?

No Bush isn't responsible... what she will lie about is the priority they had on certain things. Sheesh that one commission member all but spelled it out the other morning. They HAVE her already. She just has to slither out of it somehow. lol

Just because we all want the Bush Administration out of office does not mean we should lose our objectivity.

These hearings, or whatever you want to call them, are fucking ridiculous. None of us thought 9/11 was possible. None of us would have acted differently than the Bush Administration in relation to Al Queda.

No, but that this administration did not take seriously the threat posed by Al-Quaeda and Bin Laden... because distracted by the hardon for Iraq.

This is NOT approved by George W. Bush....

Typical how idiots think. When she doesn't testify, "Bush" has something to hide. When she does testify, she's lying.

I agree.

None of us would have acted any differently than the Bush Administration. We're all so cocky that we would never have thought 9/11 could happen on American soil. It was a big wake up call for all of us.

Having already stopped 2 attacks inside the US by al queda prior to 911 it's amazing that she can say the 'structure' wasn't there to allow them to gather the intelligence they needed.

I guess a known terrorist taking commercial flying lessons with a lot of money in his bank account with no valid reason for being in the U.S is not suspicious enough to warrant further investigation or any kind of threat assesment.

When she does testify, she's lying...

Speak to the congressman from the commission who made the very clear statement, "There are irregularities in her testimony during the private meetings we had with Ms. Rice and the hard copy records of the happenings that we were asking her about".

Not a perfect quote verbatim. What would you call that? A possible lie or hey she was having a bad day and all, we shouldn't pressure her to explain her 'confusion'.

Or I bet some Dems watergated those papers so they didn''t show how things really were!

I haven't seen ANYone here saying Bush was at fault. BUT, just like Clinton lied and was held accountable for it, there have been some questionable things said by this admin. Now its time for THEM to be held accountable for it.

funforone... you need to work on your reading comprehension more. ;-)

Bush is TOTALLY ressponsible for his PEOPLE and what THEY say. The commissioner made the statement that she asid things that didn't match up with the records...

Now if they catch her in a lie, who is responsible?
a)Clinton of course
b)the man in the moon
c)Saddam
d)Bush

Donovan,

I like you but I have to disagree with you here...I think most of us would not have had such a hardon for Iraq that it clouded our judgement on the rest of the threat from other areas.

Look at Clark's testamony to the affect that the bush people only wanted to here about Iraq after 9/11 and Bush wanted him to find stuff to blame it on Iraq.

Also, the Bush people denied for more that a week the Clark meetings on this to turnaround after other people confirmed that they were at those meeting.

They the Bush story went from no meetings to yes we had the meetings but didn't remember what was said at them...

In all objectivity, the Bush administration are a bunch of fuckin liars and you can't beleive a fuckin word they say...That is fuckin objective

I hope to hear discussion about the "Clinton Plan" to invade Afghanistan after the attack on the battleship by Al Quaida.

As I understand it, Clinton did not want to start an invasion when Bush was soon to take office, so he left it for Dubya.

The question is, why did Bush's puppeteer's not carry out this plan.

Also, why were they so horny to go after Iraq.

If the truth is that they ignored Al Quaida because they were horny to get Hussain, I think the American people have a right to know all the details.

See above answer. My comprehension is Ok. I'm just frustrated. I keep hearing that He lied or things she said didn't match up. What things? what lies?

My point is that you just cant say that someone is lieing and not know what the lie is? No president is 100% perfect, but you have to look at the sources.

Remember, Condy is not their to sell a book.

No hahahaha can tell me what they lied about. What?

Is this hearing an attempt to catch her in a lie? Is the national attention given to these hearings predicated by statements from someone who didn't get an appointment and is selling a book?

What lie?

I'm voting against Bush and Ashhahahahaha, no doubt about that. My point is that no one would have acted any differently. If there was no hard-on for Iraq and no other items on the agenda at the time, I still don't believe anything would have been done differently. We had a false sense of security. Now we're looking for someone to blame for it. But we really can't blame this administration. The last one had all the same info as well.

Ok...
first... Donovan... just as a business owner is responsible for things his employee does(see agent under the law), the president is JUST as responsible if his SOCALLED most trusted 'agents' are saying things that are untrue. Thats just the way it is.

second...funforone... the commissioner could NOT state specifically on Sundays news show exactly WHAT she said that didn't match the records. Think about it for a second. Duh? He said WATCH the proceedings and they will confront her with them.

third... he also stated, these proceedings are NOT specifically directed are her mis-statements but they WILL be an integral part of them. The people of the US were getting up in arms that Bush was trying to say they could NOT question her and that it has NEVER been done.

(buzzer blaring) yes it HAS happened that someone holding Rices job was questioned by a congressioanl commitee. So Bush had nothing to stand on yet again. Some are saying he sees his 'out' by tossing her to them. He consistantly tries to blame any and every thing on someone else. So what else is new?

fourth... Bush made statements that he and Cheney would never be at the same place together again with public knowledge, yet they insisted on being questioned together in a KNOWN place.

Things that SHOULD make you go hmmmm eh?

I just wrote this in another similar thread:

Bush lied to the public about the real reasons for going to war with Iraq. By going to war with Iraq for his own selfish reasons instead of taking care of terrorism as he should have, he put US at risk and took a step back in the war on terrorism. Unfortunately, the 9/11 commission will not get any of this out in the open.

Sorry, I dont see any facts, just inuendos that make Bush look bad. I wonder where all this starts? I wonder who benefits from that?

By the way, I think she is handling it about as good as anyone could handle a partisan grilling!

All this hearing bullshit and 'who lied' garbage aside, as pornographers you are stupid to vote for an administration that has made it literally a God-given priority to persecute you and put you out of business.

A s h cr o ft and W are imposing their born-again fundamentalist Christian morality on the country when there are much more important things to worry about.

Furthermore they are systematically doing everything they can to advance their religious agenda at the expense of civil liberties and at the expense of separation of church and state and most importantly at the expense of the Constitution.

From the FCC's obscenity witch hunt to the gay marriage constitutional amendment priority to the religious right's control of the administration to the revenge-based invasion of Iraq at the expense of the war on terror Bush must go.

couldn't have said it better myself...anyone hanging on to their support of Bush, pornographer or not, is either ignorant or EXTREMELY stubborn.

By the way, I think she is handling it about as good as anyone could handle a partisan grilling!
There are democrats and republicans doing the questioning or didn't you notice?

Oops! I forgot those are ALL dems hounding her... NO repubs there at all eh?

Get your head out of your b*tt and get up on Sunday morns and listen to the people who actually KNOW what is going on answering things on national tv. Then maybe, just maybe you might decide to question something. Even McCain has rolled his eyes more than once on those shows. Other repubs have as well.

I'm not blindly saying bad things about this admin, I'm using my judgement of them. He COULD have handled things better. Its HIS choice to have made everything a big secret. Why? This is the MOST secretive administration this country ever has had. according to Tim whatshisface... he makes it his job to know these things. So I go with that.

I was a reg'd Repub for a long time. Then I grew up. I don't vote party lines like some of you do, I vote for who I think is best, and right now Donald Duck is a better choice than Bush. He even has a better vocabulary. Quack Quack Quack. lol

I've been registered Independent since I was able to vote just so I wouldn't be associated with either party. I choose to think for myself whenever possible.

Also, the parties spam the shit out of you.

Russert

You dont "blindy say bad things" Just in your judgement he could have done better. Done what better?

Just because Russert says someting doesn't make it true any more than limbaugh. I dont vote party lines either, but I am experienced enough to consider sources when taking in information. Oreilly is obnoxious, but he calls it "spin".

Yea, grow up and dont blindly vote. But then you refference donald duck as a candidate because Bush is bad.

Well let me tell you something. Donald Duck lied to the american people! He repeatedly lies and steals and smokes crack also. He could have done a lot of cartoons better! Want some proof, no thanks, apparently thats not how it works.

He would have thrwarted the 9/11 terrorist by himself in the few months he was in office and allowed the UN to handle the other terrorists in a timely mannor.

The saying that comes to mind is:

A little bit of knowledgeis dangerous.

You should follow your own advice and pick a candidate that has the most similiar interest and agenda as you. Do not pick a candidate because he is telling you that the other is probably bad.
