so i've been reading his latest book "Kingdom of Fear", i gotta say it's incredible. it's the first thing i've read by him. i think next i'm gonna read "Songs of the Doomed".
anyone else here an HST fan?

I'm gonna order his F&L book & 2 others for reading after surgery, which is on the 27th btw....cards & flowers would really cheer me up

Hunter S Kicks ass.
I just finished The Great Shark Hunt last night...good book. But Fear and Loating in Las Vegas and Kingdom of Fear are my favorites so far. He just has a sense of rhythm to the world, or to people, or the country or something. Good stuff.

The one Thompson quote that is a mantra around here! I would highly recommend reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the two movies on Thompson just doesn't do it justice!
