No, but he did do this with another blind link program. He paid off his girlfriend's credit card this way too.

Thankfully the owner got all his money back and put an ACH block on his webmaster bank account.

Most sponsors have a seperate bank account for paying webmasters as a safety measure, which he did. However even then you will get some idiot who will commit check fraud.
