I just bought the D-Link DI-624 it dose up tp 108 mbps instead of the standard 54mbps of most of the G series.. I'm not using it as a wireless network yet.. as the only computer on it is hard wired.. But seems to be working pretty well..

D-link sucks.

I have netgear and its great but linksys is probably better.

MS has one that updates it firmware automtically when new shit comes out. That sounds handy to me.

Kard63 what's your big gripe about D-Link ? You have said it twice but give no reason...

I've set up a few and never had any issues.. I've also set up linkys, netgear and just about all the other brands... They all work preaty good for the most part.. Only issues I've ever come across is distances.. but that's with any wireless router. They are all limited.

btw

sake most new laptops have atleast a wireless B card installed from the factory.. which is fine for surfing the net... unless you are tranfering a lot of files or gaming a B will do fine in most cases.
