Video Capture Card - Need suggestions
I'm looking for a video capture device but I really don't know which one to get. I want to capture from my PVR then burn it to a DVD.
I don't need a TV tuner. I want something that will actually look nice. Pinnacle or Hauppauge or something else? |

Yep..Pinnacle Studio is the best bet to go for digital!
I'm now using my digital cam to be my interface to deliver digital signals from my dvdplayer to the computer. It's amazing how much better the digital video is to analog (vhs tape/tv). Next project is using tivo to capture in digital and transfer that to hard drive! |

I'm using an ATI 9700 all in wonder pro. It does a little more than just video capture, but I've been happy with capture quality.
I think just about any ATI video capture will work well. |

Weird .. I haven't had any troubles at all.
I know some people are using Dazzle products. Umm Dazzle Digital Video Creater or something like that .. I used one of their early products, and it worked pretty good back then. Their new stuff is supposed to be pretty good, but I don't know first hand. |
