Hmmm, here's a good question.

If an Iraqi died in your city, think a similar picture would be snapped on our shores?

more to the point, if Iraq 'liberated' America the same way america has 'liberated' Iraq and an Iraqi was dead in the streets of an American city do you not think it would be a similar situation.

that bloody war was not a good idea. it only brings us hatred and violence: we bomb their cities and kill their families, now they kill us and mutilate us.

patriotism doesnt help much either.

I think most humans are way to obsessed with bodies or the dead. I condemn the killing in the first place not what they do with the body. The jews are the most obsessed. They even have to dig up the earth their blood might have gotten into so it can be burried with the rest of the body.

I don't even care one bit what happens to my body when I am dead because in the end it will be part of this earth again either the worms eat it or my ashes are scattered somewhere. The only reason society worships the dead like that is that this is big business. So I decided to give it to science so doctors might learn something from it. After that they pay the bill for the crematory.

Again my five step plan for peace:

1) Pull all US troops out of the middle east.

2) Use millitary vehicles to transport the millions who have lost their jobs in the states to build a 100' reinforced blast proof concrete wall on red line:

3) Parachute anyone in US prison serving life in to new millitary zone.

4) Add guns, guns, guns, ammunitions, guns and more guns.

5) wait 5 years.

Americans kill them for fun so I dont see a problem with that. Sure it's not accepted in your society but ethnocentrism is kind of getting in the way if you think there is a problem with that.

Dude do you not think shit like that was happening to those people for years anyway.

I know it's not nice and unfortunate, but c'mon...

The last few days on the news in Iraq, i'm really struggling to find any sympathy for these people. The one's who didn't get jobs as police officer's in Iraq simply turned on the British troops who were there, setting fire to them, stoning them and so on.

Uncivilised people...

"BAGHDAD, Iraq ? As many as 300,000 Iraqis killed during Saddam Hussein's 23-year dictatorship are believed to be buried in more than 250 mass graves found so far around the country, the top human rights official in the U.S.-led civilian administration said Saturday."

Fox News

"So far, 270 mass graves have been found which contained the remains of 400,000 Iraqis."

Command Post Iraq

It's safe to say Saddam had a few years left in him, and his sons were in some aspects even more brutal than him. How many more Iraqi's would Saddam have killed?

It's brutal some innocent Iraqi children and women were killed. It is however a fairly safe bet, that far fewer were killed by the US .. in both wars .. Than by Saddam. There's no reason to believe he wouldn't have killed many, many more of his own people.

You can say whatever you want .. but Coalition soldiers in Iraq are heroes. I wouldn't bother going over there to try and help those people. Let them kill each other.

They're far more liberated now than they ever were under Saddam Hussein.

10 years from now, if the Iraqi people still think it was a bad idea .. You'll have a point. Right now, you have no idea.

I don't know, but in the long term it wouldn't have been close to what the endless cycle of violence is bringing.

They're not helping, they're taking over a country. I can name you plenty of countries where mass murder is being committed as we speak. A genocide is going on in Sudan and nobody gives a damn.

Yeah, the sanctions killed way more. No doubt in my mind that in the long term this action will end up killing even more people.

But do you really wanna talk about this? Because if you look around a little you'll see that genocides and mass murders are being committed and nobody cares.

But hey if you're dumb enough to believe that this invasion was to liberate Iraqis, be my guest.

The countries who invaded Iraq and the countries who didn't, didn't do it because of some concern for the Iraqis. Stop being naive.

Your right, the cheaper way to bomb iraq would have been to carpet bomb, but we used very targetted bombing and injured very few iraqis

If america and britain pull out then wave good bye to Iraq, the country will descend into chaos!!

No matter how those moaning fucks complain about it!! At least both countries are and trying very fucking hard to provide them with some sort of stability!!

Truly ungrateful bastards!!

I say give Saddam back the country, let him run it with an iron fist again!! Then they'll see the fucking difference!!

Iraq has never had it soo good until now!!!

I'm not going to argue over why it was done. For oil, for revenge, for blood lust, regime change, WMD .. It REALLY doesn't matter.

I just don't see how anybody can make a claim that the PEOPLE or Iraq, are not better off now, than they were under Saddam Hussein. To be fair, we need to give the Iraqi people 23 years to outperform Saddam. The thing is, we won't need to. It may take 2 years, or 5 years, or even 10 years.... But most propably LESS people will die... And Iraq will have a chance to be a prosperous nation.

Who care's why the US did it .. Or if they were right or if they were wrong? Either way, Iraq is better off.

As for Sanctions. These were imposed by the United Nations, not George W Bush.

And the UN didn't invade Iraq with sanctions. Saddam, invaded Kuwait. Arguably you could say Saddam was the direct cause of the sanctions. FAR more so than George Bush.

So add those deaths you attribute to sanctions, to Saddam's tally instead.

Isn't it funny how they're all outraged about Saddam's war on Iran even though every government was encouraging him?

It's simple, it's in the western worlds best interest to shut down terror states and leaders trying to gain control of other countries by force.

5 years away from now we could have been watching Sadddam nuke Iran or worse. We did not know what weapons he was trying to aquire and he would not allow proper inspection. Not knowing is just as bad as knowing he has WMD.

The US is helping all kinds of countries, in all kinds of places. I'm saying that regardless of why the US is in Iraq ... The Iraqi people ARE better off. It seems simple. I take offence with people mock the United States with "Yeah George Bush sure liberated the Iraqi people".

HE DID.

There are some sick fucks in this world.

But you don't have to go all the way to Iraq to find them.

As for Sanctions. These were imposed by the United Nations, not George W Bush.

And the UN didn't invate Iraq with sanctions. Saddam, invaded Kuwait. Arguably you could say Saddam was the direct cause of the sanctions. FAR more so than George Bush.

So add those deaths you attribute to sanctions, to Saddam's tally instead.
It's the US who came up with the sanctions.

Kuwait was stealing Iraq's oil, what did you expect to happen? Isn't it funny how Kuwait is still ruled by a dictator?

No, it's you who are saying we shouldn't be there.

So those people were happy with the way their country was run ??

I've since changed my mind about them though. I say fucking leave them to themselves. Not fucking worth it...
