I need an 8x dvd burner at least 8x+r if not -r, but I can't find any details on any sites about them having buffer underun protection or not

i'm sure its kind of a standard in some dvd burners but I want to make sure...anyone know for sure of a model i should get?

prodisc 4x dvd-r's are like ~$39 for 50 of them and they're flawless.

http://store.yahoo.com/supermediasto...lver-47gb.html

(i've bought from them, no problems)

with the firmware upgrade on the pioneer you can burn them at 8x.

plus, ebay has a lot of fake shit passing themselves off as dvd-r's
