Hey iPod owners!

What case are you using for your iPod, I just picked up a new iPod last week and I want to pick up a good durable case, maybe something that's slightly shock resistant. So I wondered what you might have tried or use.

I wasn't sure what case would come from apple with it, but when I got it and looked at it I knew I definitely needed a new one. It's a nice little case, but doesn't offer too much protection like I want. I might have to get a skin for it too.

my friend has the 40gb Ipod2
although the sound and display ROCK, there are many bugs regarding the battery and the stuff you see on the screen. these problems are common to MANY ipod owners

Yeah but that's not enough protection. I was thinking of getting one of those to prevent scratches and crap on it, but a actual bigger case to carry it in.

TurboAngel: It's great, just got it from FedEx on Friday morning and I like it a lot.

I am looking to buy one of these ipods when they are launched in the UK soon. Can you plug them in your car stereo to use the car speakers?

yup, but goes without saying you need an Ipod-to-car connector

Thanks
I think I will get one of these 40 gig ipods off ebay tomorrow. A tad expensive at the moment but 10,000 tracks in my car will keep me a happy chappy!

Yeah you can, this is the accesory I bought with mine to do that. It's the best one for connecting to a car stereo or any FM stereo for that matter because it's digital, wireless and you can use the entire FM spectrum instead of just a few specific numbers. I tried it out last night and today after I got my iPod in and it sounds great and doesn't require batteries either.

I just use the case that came with it.

I've got the FM thing, but if you've got a lot of stations in your area that might not work well.
If your car radio has an aux input (one of mine does) that's easiest 'cuz you just plug it in & it's perfect

Havent seen any bigger ones on sale yet but i know what you mean, the little fabric bag and metal clip case it comes with probably wouldn't help much.

I will look out for one, on my travels round different sites, and let you know about it if i find one

Thanks, I was really just wondering what people here already owned. As far as reviews and all that stuff, I already have a site that I check out. This is the best iPod site there is.
