i have tried some pushing some exclusive content sites on revshare and the percentage of trial to full is not that great.Paysites should not give access to the whole site on a trial, but instead only give a couple of scenes and force the surfer to upgrade to a monthly membership to see the entire site.Surfers cancel because usally after three days they have seen everything on the site. A month will give the surfer at least 4 updates to look forward to so he would be less likely to cancel

You can use Updatem to preschedule updates to your members on a per-user basis (members can be on different updates).

Why on earth offer a trial on Exclusive stuff, we have some new sites coming out shortly some using exclusive some using normal hardcore content and all will sell kickass with no trails just $24.95-$29.95 straight up, trails are not nessesary on sites that sell awesome. You make more money without trials as well and so do affilates. signup 100 $4.95 trials and have them convert at 30-50% to full month and you aren't going to make as much as 80 full month $29.95 memberships you'd normally sell.

Each to their own of course, if it works for you all power to you.

I've seen a few (very few) sites that do a weekly episode type content, but what happens if you start going into a story that many of your members don't like for weeks on end? Assuming that is you're only doing one storyline at a time.

Yep, if you can't make money on a no-trials exclusive paysite, just close it, case closed.

If you can't pony up $24.95 at least at my sites, you can't join, period. Less chargebacks and complaints, too.

Then again my sites are the exception to most of the shit out there... when a customer joins, they don't want to see feeds, jokes, outdated 80's content or crap like that. Everyone thinks the mere fact that content is exclusive means it will work.

Well the reality is non-exclusive good content will get the surfer jerking off quicker than exclusive bad content. Too many buy exclusive purely on price and are left buying from guys who can't produce the goods to a level that will turn a surfer into a member or a trial into a sign up.

Look for porn quality first and think about what you are getting not what you are paying.

One simple option is to use AVS systems for your trial.

Many webmasters use Proadult (see link below) as they can put a set of pics on ProAdults system, so they are not even using there webspace but ProAdults.

It works great in many ways:
(1) You will get tons of free traffic without having to do anything as ProAdult sites get many hits.
(2) You may even make some cash just from people joining your Proadult site.
(3) It costs nothing to set up a ProAdult site, except an hour or so developing it.

Actually, most trials are cancelled within a few seconds of signing up before the surfer even takes a look at the members area. Surfers abuse the paysite trial system, this is a fact. The idea that the surfer will see how great your members area is and not cancel is a bit of a myth. It's more likely they forgot to cancel.
