Abercrombie & Fitch tells the governor of West Virginia to get stuffed

LOL, Abercrombie & Fitch has a t-shirt with an outline of the state of West VA with the caption, "It's all relative in West Virginia".

The governor of the state instead of opening a reasonable dialogue with the company sends a demand for the immediate cessation of sales of the shirt and to destroy all existing stock.

What a maroon... must have presidential aspirations
The shirt is still available at Abercrombie & Fitch if you want to contribute to the governor's distress

Here's the governor's "diplomacy":

"I write to you today to demand that you immediately remove this item from your stores and your print and online catalogues," Wise wrote. "In addition, these shirts must be destroyed at once to avoid any possibility of resale and proof be given thereof."

So all he did was confirm that the logo was correct, if not he would have seen it as a joke.

No smoke without fire?

If I were Abercrombie & Fitch I would send him back a message,

"We are sympathetic to your feelings and are willing to come to a fair agreement. When we ordered the item in question it was not our intention to cause anyone distress. We currently have xxxx of the shirts in stock with a retail value of $xxxx. Please send us $xxxx +$xxxx S&H and we will ship all stock to you and will not reorder any more of these shirts.
