We shot for Korn a year ago for the Huston Bros. sat there for 13 fucking hrs on set listeneing to the guys play the song over and over.... the one Brothers had hired my friend ,and it was all for the getting the hit... she knew it I knew it and thats what happened. she got hit... then his phone calls stopped in less than a week, then agency calls and says theres a problem on your contract you get paid $150.00 for the gig, not the verbal price they talked about.... yeah. ya dont like go fight paramonut lawyers...tuck your tail and go home and learn from your mistakes. I got the impression this happened a LOT!

There are agencies on every corner around here that allows people to pay a 20$ per year fee. Sure you are quite aware heheh

They take your picture, including what you are available to do (topless, beach scenes) anything like that so they can find work.

But basically, you call in every morning, listen to a message and if you fit the part, you can go to the audition. You make about 20-40 bucks depending what you do. You stand around all day with a bunch of worthless actors and hopefully you brought a book to read.

I have friends who did this everyday just to live here. Went on all kinds of shots, you get fed, you get 35 bucks, and you do the same thing the next day.

This is Hollywood.

Hell I even went down, theres a demand for guys with tattoos and punk rockers. You can land more jobs doing videos and shit, but the pay stinks. I went down and had them take my pic, but I never went to any auditions, they called about work though.
