I worked on a few of the "Budweiser Frog" commercials and as a SAG performer. And for a week it was 25K. Unless they buy her out, but no talent scout or agent would know if there was buyout even before he signs someone. All that shit's done in the negotiation of the deal and most first timers get fucked on their first one becuase they don't know what to ask for. And Their agents usually do it for next to nothing just to get their client the exposure.

Also, she's not even SAG yet or AFTRA.. is she? She'll either have to earn it or get Taft Hartley'd.

I don't know man I don't wanna rain on your parade, but some guy throwing out numbers like that doesn't seem like a real agent. 100K per show, without even knowing her capabilities?

heed the warnings these other people have posted. I worked in that industry for a while and 95 out of 100 agents are scammers. They will tell you all these things and then sign you to a contract then you have to pay for headshots, wardrode for headshots, makeup, acting classes, consultations ect and it ends up being 1000's of dollars and all the agent does is submit you to get walk on work as an extra or submits you blindly to big movies/Tv shows and hopes for a miracle. All things you could do yourself for free or a lot cheaper.

He saw her, and she is gorgeous, but he hasn't seen her act, he doesn't know how she looks on camera and on film, and like it has been said only the top TV stars make 100K a week. only about 5% of SAG members actually make a living acting.

A lot of people look at people like Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock and think " they just made one or two movies and were then making millions." that might be part true but they don't mention the 7-10 years they kicked around hollywood with bit parts in bad movies that nobody has ever seen, bad commecials and infomercials etc.

just don't sign anything on the spot. Insist that you take it and have a lawyer look it over. If he's legit then he won't care and would expect this. If he makes any kind of fuss about this I would walk away you could end up doing a lot more harm than good to her career.

I personally never really heard of something like this, what you described. This happens to models, they are found on the street and all they have to do is be pretty but actors found on the street like that and 4 companies who are interested only based on the looks....i highly doubt it. It doesnt make much sense.

I lived in LA for almost 2 decades and did a lot of projects in the entertainment industry. No matter what you look like or how much talent you have your odds are better at winning the lotto than becoming a star making $100K a week. The talent management biz is a racket.
