Sinise Confirmed for 'CSI: New York'
CBS has confirmed the signing of Gary Sinise for the third installment of the "CSI" franchise.
Sinise will play Detective Rick Calucci, a "dedicated and driven crime scene investigator" in "CSI: New York," the network announced Thursday (March 18). The show, which is guaranteed a spot on the CBS schedule in the fall, will be set up in an episode of "CSI: Miami" in May. "Gary Sinise and New York is solid gold," says "CSI" creator Anthony Zuiker. "Together we are looking forward to bringing New Yorkers an important show in the golden era of television."
