Howard Stern Rally in L.A. Friday 3/19
It's not just for Howard Stern; it is to show support for Freedom of Speech. Here is the info, if you can come:
When: Friday, March 19 from 6AM - 10AM Where: On the sidewalk in front of the West Los Angeles Federal Building 11000 Wilshire Blvd. West Los Angeles, CA 90024 (Cross streets Wilshire Blvd. and Veteran Ave.) Bring signs to show support. Organized by KLSX 97.1 FM. Obey all laws: park legally, do not jaywalk, do not impede traffic, etc. |

they actually talked about that the other day. Grandpa Al Lewis is still alive but from what Howard and Gary were saying he's in rough shape, had his feet amputated and sounded like he's mentally done too.
he wasn't on good terms with Howard anymore, the last time Grandpa was on a few years ago Howard smelled something bad, Grandpa Al wanted to talk politics and Howard kept accusing him of shitting his pants and asking him to prove he didn't crap his drawers - it was pretty cruel, also pretty funny. Grandpa Al didn't think so and never returned. Same thing with Pat Cooper. I miss him too. I still listen to Howard a couple hours most days but the show is nowhere near what it was - it was an amazing 5 hours practically every morning back in the day.

There really should be a rally for Howard in Miami where he was yanked off the air.
I'd organize it, but I'm just too damn lazy. However, if someone else organized something, I would show up to show my support.
