Reminds me of pay per signup.

anyway, back to the the discussion.

I could see it happening. Bought traffic, feeder traffic from tgps they already own, recips, 404. Maybe they already had traffic to begin with then changed to a tgp.

Gotta crawl before you walk... but when you can age fast, times like these make it easy. Sleazy... Is http://www.sleazydream.com the only tgp you have? If you have another tgp. How do you expect to send big traders hits if you have none? Which bouces back to your question. Which one of the top ways would you go about sending out extra hits if you had started a new tpg?

When I checked out this guys site, it was a popup hell and tried to install the XXXtoolbar several times. I can only image the relief a surfer feels when clicking into a clean tgp after being at a site like that. Needless to say, I'm not gonna send my visitors to such a trash site so I disabled the trade. Sites like this sign up for trades every couple of weeks and send traffic long after disabling the trade. With the extra traffic coming in, I am returning 545% to my trades on average right now. I'm sure it will eventually taper off, but I always average at least a 250% return to my trades.
I have had a similar experience with a site that I found to have a virus on it, although the productivity wasn't sky high. It's been over a week since I deleted the trade and he is still sending hits.

Has it occurred to you that someone who is cheating with a popup hell may also be feeding you fake hits? That would be my first assumption. I would be BLOCKING that traffic from even loading my site!

So basically your are saying you purposely sending fake hits to your trades! You should be blocking the site's url or redirect it to a non-trade page...

If someone give you traffic that is let's say 800% productive -> they click 8 times on a link, being send to 3 trades. SO, this visitor gives you the power to send out 3 clicks to your trades and still you have 5 clicks left to send to your galleries. There you have it, 3 uniques out from 1 unique in, AND 5 clicks to your galleries (it's a win-win). so you are sending out 3 uniques from 1 unique in... The better prod your trades, the more uniques you can send out, the more your trades get...

A huge TGP can afford to send out this much traffic. As you say
there are some that will trade with anyone and as long as they
aren't getting cheated and will never turn off the trade even if
you return hardly a thing.

Think about it for a second.....

These sites are better than yours...
They have more and better galleries.
They have a crapload of bookmarkers.
They know the surfers will come back to them and they'll be the start point.

They know that by trading with you, they will get more surfers
that haven't seen their site before and will become their
bookmarkers when they see how much bigger and better it is.

It doesn't matter if you return more traffic or not, just that you
return fresh eyes that are ready to become bookmarkers.

Not saying your site is crap or anything....

Just that depending on the size of a site there becomes a point
when it just doesn't matter anymore how much you send out and
get back.

I know exactly where sleazy is talking about!
Before starting to scream some of you guys should think... and check things out before replying! there are a lot of bullshit TGP's at there! trying to get good traffic back sending bad traffic--or even simulated traffic....some people can easily tell which TGP's we are talking about....

I'm not going to name names here, but lets think about it.

There's SEVRERAL large trading TGPs out there today that will send any good site 3 or 4 hits for every one they get in - some even send more. Ok, that's fine on a good trade, but some of these guys are doing that on MOST EVERY TRADE they have.

ok, send out 3X what I get in. if the site is mostly trades I'm left asking - how exactly does this site do this MAGICAL TRADE? If I pay $3 for every $1 I take in, my business won't last very long unless I'm printing counterfit money in the back room to padd the evenlopes going out.

cough cough hitbit cough cough
come on - ever thought about the fact that surfers can be send 3 or 4 times to a trade? It's not THAT hard to figure it out, is it?

Maybe every surfer will avg 3+ clicks leading out to the TGP's trades?

Maybe they're buying additional traffic from other sources to make up for the surfer who doesnt make 3+ clicks on their site?

If i was making bank on banners and paid submissions why wouldnt i fund the machine with some of that revenue to compensate?

Im not a TGP expert so take the above for what its worth.

hehehe, I know about some well known big TGP that sent 30k (worthless) traffic to a small 25k site. The lil site had to cap the trade down to 1% cause all trades got fucked up. Just funny that the traffic from the 'big site' was that lousy that it even didn't made the 300 clicks to cover up the 1% back. And Mr. Big TGP didn't stop sending that shit traffic for weeks.

Few answers to this:

1) There is a lot of fake traffic going around.

2) Feeder. If you give me $1 I can give you $3 back if I take a big loan from the bank. Why would I take the loan? Cause I may believe that I will make money soon and will have enough to pay off the loan.

3) Bookmarks but that doesnt answer this question cause obviously you are not talking about real sites.

4) Zillas traffic isnt as good as it used to be. Peirod.

It's worth it - I think Zilla's traffic is always worth it - every site listed on Shemp's TGPADS is top rate.

I just went thru Zilla's webmaster page for the paid listing info. Unless it's changed since that time - I just dealt with Nelvac.
