![]() I've been using Compupic Pro for a few years now, and for the most part Ive been happy with it. But a lot of the times when I try browsing a CD it freezes my entire computer. Before that I used ACDSee, but that seemed to crash when the directory had a lot of image files (150+) in it. What do you all use? And please dont recomment the one in Photoshop, cause it's just crap.

To browse image files I use PaintShopPro It's fuckin' fast. I started doing design work waaaay back when on PSP and so I just got familiar with it.
But sometimes in PhotoShop if I know WHERE the image is, but can't remeber it's name, I'll click file>open>and set the open browser to "thumbnails" it's quick to but the thumbs are much smaller and it's not very good for browsing thumbs. It's really only good for finding the file after you already know what folder it's in. PaintShop is good for browsing big folders really fast. And the cool thing is... if you open an image in Paintshop you can hit "CTRL+C" and paste it in to PhotoShop. ![]()
