Our account was suspended from reason "no available url OR not working user management OR high chargeback ratio OR problems with content". We asked what is exact reason and what to do yesterday evening, but they didn't reply. Did they tell you the exact reason?

I got the same form-letter. No answer to any of my eMails though. Granted, I did just get around to sending eMails this morning. Seems like they started axing accounts yesterday, and didn't get around to mine til this morning.

Paysite owner. But seems very few accounts was affected, just about 1%.

They did this to me about 8 weeks ago, out of the blue. They were only a backup processor for me and I had very few signups with them anyway. They claim I had 3 chargebacks, but yet there is no proof. I emailed risk management and support at least a dozen times without a response. They claim *I* owe them $75 for chargeback fees, yet every 2 weeks deposit money into my account for my holdbacks.

Nothing shows in the chargeback logs and you can check every pay period back for a year and there isn't a single chargeback. I probably had 10 signups in the previous 5 months, and I find it hard to believe there were 3 chargebacks when I haven't had a single one with 3 other processors AND a merchant account in the past year.

I'm a paysite owner too... I did get a few cancelled checks a couple weeks ago, but I stopped accepting checks after that. Hmm. I really hope this can be resolved on Monday.

Also, their sign-up stats have not worked for some time.

I will give them four more days.

My verotel got cancelled too. This is crazy. No replys from emails and when you try to contact them by phone, they tell you to email. I think they are really making some big mistakes right now.

But my question is...Where else do you suggest to process with.



Do you guys have any suggestions for a really good processor at less than 7% of your sales???

Has anyone heard anything at all from verotel yet on this matter?

DOES anyone want to start there own processor?

Maybe you didn't understand the situation. A lot of legit sites (like one that even offers sources on discount computers) are getting their accounts suspended while there are pedo sites that are still up and running.

Verotel has been processing VISA and MasterCard transactions
for more than six years now. As an Internet Payment Service
Provider, we have to comply with the latest demands
from the card companies. These demands are mostly
related to protecting the brand names 'VISA' and
'MasterCard'.

In line with these demands, we have to inform you about
important changes related to the websites you are reselling
content for.

As of yesterday, the acquiring banks we are working with,
do not process any transactions anymore of websites
that are related to underage models. Even if the models
are fully dressed and are not involved in any sexual
explicit behaviour, these websites do infringe on the
brand names of the card companies.

An underage model is every model (male or female),
that is under 18 years of age, and/or any model
over 18 years of age, but pictured as an underage model.
In addition, the words 'lolita' and/or 'little' are
not allowed in the domain name anymore.

In line with these demands, we have suspended the accounts
of all webmasters, that have sold this kind of content in
the past. Webmasters might shut down their website
and its members entrance. Their subscribers might
complain about the fact that they cannot
enter the website anymore and will contact their issuing
bank to get their money back. Verotel and its acquiring
banks, carry the full chargeback risk of the transactions,
occured in the last 6 months.

In order to ascertain this risk, we have secured the
amounts you made with reselling for these websites,
and we have put your reseller account to suspended.
We will therefore not release any funds until six months from now.
That means that you will not receive any payments
until at least October this year. Your account stays
reachable with the Verotel Control Center for future
updates and information about your payments.

If your reselling for underage model websites volume
is only a small portion of your total business, then
please contact us for a review of your account. You
can email to [email protected] for assistance with this.

We regret that we have to inform you about this, but
this is a step made by the card companies over which
we do not have direct control.

Verotel was way cheaper and they do offer some other options for the euro market.

WIth verotel i was only paying 6% .....The choice was easy. But now I am singing the blues....

Has anyone actaully talked with a rep from verotel or is this just all automated email stuff.

I have not heard from them ...I did get the email that is in here but that still does not explain why I would be shut down. All of my stuff is us2257 compliant, which visa needs to see....

If anyone heard from an actual person from verotel I would be very interested in what there reasoning is behind all of this....

all i know about verotel is they can process only approx 70% of my users credit cards the rest come to me and I send them paypal requests which accepts their cards fine

Isnt the "payout day" for Verotel's webmasters coming up this monday ?

I think in 3 days will be the true tune to this song. If the payouts come, then Verotel is just taking a legit stance. If nobody get's paid, then Verotel is done.

I notice that most of the people complaining they got the
suspend notice had taken the surfer security option (rate plan 1)
and not the merchant 100% charge option (rate plan 2).

Perhaps Verotel is just trimming the dead weight here? Alot
of sites that $1.95 isn't the same as the percentage upto the
regular frees.

I've got some funky sites with them and they haven't said
boo to me, but I have left my rate at 14%.

I can beat all that - they fucking suspended me and I don't even process with them! In fact, I don't even resell with any site that uses them as a processor. I signed up with them through treasure trove about a year ago for some exit traffic thing that never came to pass. They gave me the same "underage model" nonsense. Not only have I never promoted that crap (or would I ever), I also have never even pushed their sites!

I think they needed to cut a certain percentage loose and did so, while generating random reasons.

You could be onto something. I was using the default Rate Plan 1 which put my processing fee at 14%. Hmm... interesting.

We did not get this email and we NEVER shoot or publish anything with underage models. But now all our bussiness partners when seeing we were suspended from Verotel would think it's because we were making child porn. Horrible.

Hope this will explain soon, really unfortunate step to start this before 3 days vacations when support and representatives are unavailable...

Closed my affiliate account and they gave me the same "underage model" nonsense. Never have and never will promote any underage websites. I´m getting pretty sick and tired of all these creditcard companies. And I guess thats the real reason.

I got the same email and my account was suspended. That I don't understand as I have never promoted any underage sites .... so I have no idea why they suspended me.
No reply to my email, yet and their online customer service is not available.
This sucks big time. They should review accounts first before they damage other's businesses.

I've got 7 sites across 2 accounts. 1 for dailer and DD as you
use and 1 for primary support of fetish sites. Dialers are easy
to flip, you can even work out a deal with ARS now.
I don't want to get on their bad site for the fetish sites.
(MoneyDolls runs under it's own merchant account.)

I think we'll be OK monday, this doesn't have the same feel
as the last few. This feels more like the AVS shake up. Kick me
if I'm wrong, but I'll put a pint and shot on it, that this week
we'll see Verotel publishing strict guidelines of what is the
minimum expected of the content in quality and quantity.
They've been relatively fast and loose with members areas
compared to the big 3.

It might be the point. I quickly checked at google which pages were suspended. All of them had lame design similar to our one! But it's our marketing strategy to tell people we are not professionals, we are just playing for fun (true, everybody from our group has other at least partial job). But why the hell they can't announce guidelines first and give about a week to change design? This way brings them more work too.

I doubt they'd suspend an account based upon poor design of the site. It sounds like it was content related. I imagine they wouldn't care as long as the volume was enough to support the account maintence and chargebacks were low.

Exactly same thing happened with globosale...same explanations to all paysite owners and resellers...and few weeks later the entire company shut down all activities. Even if all remaining sites are 18+.
Forget email Verotel, you will never recieve replies. Forget your money, you will never recieve your payments.... I bet the company is dead in few months.

This is what happens when billing companies mix pedoshit with 18+....stay away!

I think the writing is on the wall and verotel is about to crash and burn big time.

There is no way that they can continue doing business this way. The way they treat there customers and clients is absurd and if you did that anywhere but on the net(shut off accounts for no apparent reason with no warning)You would be out of business in about a day.

So I must agree with some of you in here. I strongly believe that VEROTEL will be a thing of the past. Absoulutley in my mind they are going to fold. How can they remain in business with all of these accounts that they have cancelled. I bet that over 80% of there accounts are down and how can they run on 80% of there revenues, I am sure they have employees to pay(not in the customer service area though)and overhead and all sorts of bills to pay that are relient on there steady income...NOT 20% of it.

Just something to think about thats all.

When Verotel shuts down..Who else would any of you sugest to process thru other than ccbill and ibill???

I do think that we all should just start our own processor and tell them all to gofuckthemselves.
