It was just him, his swiss army knife and the environment. That's all... and he overcame the odds.
He didn't have no talking car, or team of angels or big black guy pitying no fools. He'd figure out a way to defeat any of them with his handy pocket knife and still give his trademark smile at the end of the show. You know, I know it.... MacGyver can't be beat. |

Yeah he was the shit, but he couldnt dodge bullets, his enemies just never bothered to walk up to him and shoot him in the head when he was tied up. Same thing with the Adam West Batman.
