My friend finaly did it. Suicide
1 of my friend found him few hours ago.1 sweet bullet in his head.
His name was Pavel (34 years old) and he has been my friend for ages.He told me about his plan several times - I never thought he is seriouse about that.Strange feeling for me.Today is no good day for me

I always hate hearing about suicides, I've known three people that have taken their owns lives. When I was in highschool, my classmate killed himself, the very next day, the star quarterback took his life. It was probably the most two depressing days. Sorry to hear about your loss, thoughts are with you.

Nydahl I am very sorry for the loss of your friend. I know the pain your friend was going through as I have had depression my entire life and have been hospitalized a few times as a suicide risk. I hope others reading this will tell someone when they are suffering, and those told need to act NOW! This is very serious and should never be taken lightly.

Sorry man....
I've been really really depressed and sad and desperate at different times in my life but even at the darkest times I always felt like I could just step back and "let go" of whatever it was and be fine if I needed too. Can't imagine the dark place that would make suicide the most attractive solution.

My thoughts and prayers are with you...my friend commited suicide when I was 17. He was getting help but it just was not working. during the last two weeks there were lots of signs but it never jumps out at you until it is too late. He timed it perfectly so that nobody would stop him.
It was a jewish funeral which means closed casket but his parents had an open casket to give people a chance to say goodbye. They read his suicide note. I remember it still today like it was yesterday. He said to all my friends "get help before it is too late". He saved alot of people from going down the same road. If you need to talk, I understand what you are feeling!

I know how you feel ..
a very close friend of mine that I basically spent every day of the last 20 years with committed suicide 2 years ago .. he was missing a week until the police found him on the shore of a river .. we will never know why he killed himself .. he left a note just saying that we should not be mad .. we have collected more than 100 pictures of him and there wasn't one where he wasn't smiling. but you never know what people are feeling inside. mike |
