how do I delete a partition

how do I delete the recovery partition on my harddrive of my video comp? I am installing a fresh version of windows now formating that part... now how do I delete the partition of recovery?

Use a boot disk with "fdisk" on it. Fdisk allows you to create/delete your partitions.

(You can also use "Partition Magic" which is more user friendly)

No, theres no reason it would be slowing you down, that extra partition is just taking up harddrive space.

(btw, Fdisk is a free dos program)

You shouldn't be playing around with partitions if you don't know what they, or what fdisk is .. this can have catastrophic results on your data
