My Dog Fell Down The Stairs

I love that dog as much as any human but I gotta admit it was funny as hell watching her fall down the flight of stairs.

I'm a dog lover too, but I can't help but laugh if you catch one on ice, marble floor, etc. Drives em nuts

it's funny to watch people fall down too - doesn't mean anybody is cruel. America's Funniest Home Videos was watched by millions of people.

she's got bad hips - that's why she fell, if she's just woken up and has to go outside her back legs sometimes just give out going down stairs. I just don't want her to break a leg , the way she fell was not tumbling head over heels, she went down like on a toboggan/sled face first on her stomach.

whenever one of our dogs falls, slides on ice, etc., they just get up, move along like nothing happened, doesn't faze them at all. so, even if you laugh at them, they don't care.

My cavalier has hairy paws and has trouble on tiled or timber floors it's quite funny....

A big fat tart falling down the flight of stairs would have been funnier. They always seem to fall in slow motion.

LOL,The same thing happened to my dog once. He was allmost on top of the stairs when for some reason he fell all the way down. When he was down, he looked around if anyone see him and then he quickly ren up the stairs again like nothing happened

thought it was the name of a band, by the way you captitalized each letter in the title.

yes it's also a song - the title is an allegory, very moving song

the dog is ok, i wouldn't have posted about it if it had been serious. and just like somebody else posted here, after it happened, she tried to make it look like nothing happened - dogs coverup for embarassment the same way people do. i'm not sure cats have the same range of emotions as dogs.

there was a book out a few years ago ranking dog breeds by intelligence. it compared the intelligence of a very smart dog to be about on the level of a 4 year old human.

My 17 year old falls down the stairs occassionaly as well. At his age I don't laugh but it can be funny as fuck. I put a harness on the old timer so I can keep him from going to fast down the stairs.

I think cats do act like humans to a certain extent, or adapt to their environment. I have 2 cats and one dog and let me tell you that one of the cats think she is a dog and the other cat goes out of his way to bitchslap the dog anytime it crosses his path. Not like fighting or anything but he just paws at him (and hasn't hurt the dog, yet).

However, I might have to put my doggy down got some sort of disease which only a German Sheppard can get and he is on these pills which transplant recipients receive to suppress their immune system.. He seems to be doing much better but we'll have to see what the vet says. It's something which an operation cannot solve and as much as I love my dog I cant see him suffering the rest of his natural life.

(No dog donation requests just yet )

PS: Glad to hear she is ok!
