the dog is ok, i wouldn't have posted about it if it had been serious. and just like somebody else posted here, after it happened, she tried to make it look like nothing happened - dogs coverup for embarassment the same way people do. i'm not sure cats have the same range of emotions as dogs.

there was a book out a few years ago ranking dog breeds by intelligence. it compared the intelligence of a very smart dog to be about on the level of a 4 year old human.
I think cats do act like humans to a certain extent, or adapt to their environment. I have 2 cats and one dog and let me tell you that one of the cats think she is a dog and the other cat goes out of his way to bitchslap the dog anytime it crosses his path. Not like fighting or anything but he just paws at him (and hasn't hurt the dog, yet).

However, I might have to put my doggy down got some sort of disease which only a German Sheppard can get and he is on these pills which transplant recipients receive to suppress their immune system.. He seems to be doing much better but we'll have to see what the vet says. It's something which an operation cannot solve and as much as I love my dog I cant see him suffering the rest of his natural life.

(No dog donation requests just yet )

PS: Glad to hear she is ok!
