and just to echo some others in this thread: relationships become much more complicated with the addition of money, in my experience.

relationships were easy before money ;)

But with money, you have the option to pretend as if you have none... so you can have this "easier" type of relationship whenever you want, while still having the security in the back of your mind that your a multi millionaire :)

Without money... you just have to roll with the punches and take what life gives you.

I've heard that before and I agree. I think it holds alot more than money = happiness. Money only enhances happiness by giving you the freedom to further explore and share it, with out the happiness to begin with, money only creates a temporary delusion.

Money doesn't make me happy - it makes me comfortable.

The pursuit of money makes me happy.

Money causes incredible stress in an relationship. "Why can't you buy me this? You made $X today!" Oh can you pay for the mortgage this month babe, I spent my money on shoes and you are rich anyway.

Money does not equal happiness. But the success of your endevours which leads to getting money can bring happiness. Knowing you have achieved something can bring it's own pleasure.

However before Eva arrived I was making money, achieving my goals but still not happy. Now I think I would be happy if we were living in a bedsit with no money, but have no intention of testing that theory. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
