The truth is, this biz is there for anyone to take - All you need is drive, a will to win, and an aptitude for learning. I have also seen quotes on how much cash is needed to create a large programme - - I know of one large programme running today, that started off with just 1000 bucks - The guys had the wont to make it work - And they have... (Shit - I put in 250 of that and still haven't had it back yet)!!! |

I agree. All newbies leave. In fact, everyone should just leave the whole industry to me. This is right up there with my theory that we should tell the government to charge us a 200,000 dollar a year license to pedal porn.

In the past year I've met at least 4 people who were coming to the boards for the first time, had never been to a webmaster convention and didn't know anyone else... but they'd all been in the business for years and were making great money. They just happened to see an ad somewhere and came over to check the board out.
Plenty of folks in this biz who don't have contacts or a networking system who succeed. |
