You have to wonder how much of it is true coming from stern. But nothing would surprise me about US politicians nowadays.

Interesting.. Brownback is the same that is part of the Constitution Restoration Act of 2004
Among the sponsors of the bill are Rep. Robert Aderholt (Alabama), Rep. Michael Pence (Indiana), Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama, Sen. Zell Miller (Georgia), Sen. Sam Brownback (Kansas), and Sen. Lindsey Graham (South Carolina). ----- Accordingly, under Sec. 102 of this bill, "Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, the Supreme Court shall not have jurisdiction to review, by appeal, writ of certiorari, or otherwise, any matter to the extent that relief is sought against an element of Federal, State, or local government, or against an officer of Federal, State, or local government (whether or not acting in official personal capacity), by reason of that element's or officer's acknowledgment of God as the sovereign source of law, liberty, or government." This means, that the federal judiciary would be prohibited from interfering with any _expression of religious faith by any elected local, state, or federal official. In other words, federal judges could not prevent the Ten Commandments from being displayed in public buildings or Nativity Scenes from appearing on court house lawns or "under God" from being recited in the Pledge of Allegiance or prayers being spoken in public schools, etc. This bill would limit the jurisdiction of the federal courts in these matters. Furthermore, Sec. 201 of this bill states, "In interpreting and applying the Constitution of the United States, a court of the United States may not rely upon any constitution, law, administrative rule, Executive order, directive, policy, judicial decision, or any other action of any foreign state or international organization or agency, other than the constitutional law and English common law."

Putting God back in America
http://www.gopusa.com/news/2004/marc...tion_act.shtml A new bill submitted in both houses of Congress would limit the jurisdiction the U.S. Supreme Court as well as federal district courts would have over cases involving a federal, state, or local government official who publicly acknowledges God as the source of law, liberty, or government.

They dont want islamic rule to control iraq. Thats totally understandable. Things would be worse there then they are now or have been in several decades if that were to happen. I personally dont have a problem with religion. I just dont think they should try to shove religion down our throats. |

I agree with that. But we are not going to allow it to become an islamic controlled state like iran, and I agree with that as well. |

This post is important. Everyone should read this.
And about John Titor, do you think it will be considered a movie or book hoax at some point later ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Titor

If anyone could get Bush out of office, it's Howard Stern. Think about all the dumb blue collar republicans who think Bush is the hero because he "stands for america" or whatever. They all also worship Howard on their way to work every morning. Take him away and the right wing is finished among the non-religious in this country
