All clicks will be counted and then redirected to the respective URL, regardless of what the URL is.

If the URL after that contains variables (&ref=you for example), you'll have to urlencode it (since the URL is passed through the script which redirects you). How come when I add in a url to the sig.php?url=
I get a red x instead of a the counter thing.
Wether it had been encoded or not?

lol, your server is probably protected from link hotten. Have your admin make you a folder in which there is no hotlink protection, for situations such as these.

You should not use it on a server that has a PHP cache/optimizer enabled. The fact that the data is stored in the actual PHP file will cause the cache/optimizer to keep reoptimizing and caching the file every time it is hit.... This will still work but On my server with the latest version of Turck mmcache it was casuing the cache to waste memory and eat a LOT of CPU. HTTP would spike to 99.9% CPU usage every time I hit the file a few times rapidly.

So I would reccomend a SEPERATE txt file to store the hit/click count. (its generally a bad Idea to have a self contained data/script file in any case)

Still a cool script though, just thought people should know that it can casue problems with cache/optimization software in its current state.

Btw, some thoughts I had. 1) Make it so it only counts unique CLICKS when someone clicks on the sig. and 2) Make it so the url has to be gofuckyourself.com, gfyboard, or any of the other major webmaster forums for the impression/click to count. The script is cool for self knowledge, but if it was made a little more safe proof, it could also be useful for sig buyers and sellers alike.
