Was with a friend when he cut and styled his uncle's hair in the morgue.

Perhaps you should seek counseling for what you've experienced. This is all very traumatic you know. Talking about it really helps.

Seen way too many - from murder victims to suicides.
Kissed only the family members.
The friends or distant relatives, after my final prayer I blow a farewell kiss & touch their hand.

The saddest was when my dad died because I had dreamt the entire funeral home scene 2 weeks before his accident (details that weren't normal) and I had told him about it - he thanked me for prolonging his life - he had an accident that same day and miraculously came out with a few scratches, however two weeks later after a second freak accident he didn't survive.

A few that come to mind, one time was in stop and go traffic, about 50 feet in front of my car I saw a gangbanger get whacked in front of a custom car shop, he took a .45 to the head.

Another time, I was working late at the office, and heard the sound of a guy getting hit by a car, as much as I understand physics, I still can't get over how tightly tied shoes always slip off at the moment someone gets hit.

He was too late for the paramedics, and died right there on the side of the highway. That was in 1999 and still creeps me to this day.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. Don't worry about how you reacted to her body. Just remember all the good things about her in your heart forever. Thats all that really counts.

Sorry about the lost of your grandmother.

I can relate. I lost my grandmother on my dad's side the 12th of last month, my aunt (his sister) on Jan 1st and my grandpa on that side last June.

It been a crappy year !
