Okay, 10 best players in the adult industry from the only live industry game there is:
http://www.webmasterpokertour.com/ 5 Way Tie For 1st (all 5 agreed to split the prizes) 1. Sarah - NetBilling 1. Richard - National A1 1. Steve - Excel Comm. 1. Gary - CyberAge 1. Brett - DormAngels 6. Hershie - Adult Content Zone 7. Railz - Porn Resource 8. Reuben - Cyber Age 9. Rinaldo - Slick Cash 10. Ryan - EZA Cash Ryan = Rictor, by the way. I think there was about 400 webmasters in that game. And I'm still pissed at myself for playing stupid once I got to the final table. All-in on the first hand. I think the jet lag and all those hours of playing without sleep finally caught up with me. |

I've made it to the last 2 tables with 4k before, not bet once because I had shitty hands and barely made it to the final table because the blinds got to the 1000/2000 level with two tables left. That's rare in these games though. Maybe if we start getting 2 or 3 hundred people they will start going higher than level 16. |

Just because we charge GFY players to get into these tourneys doesn't mean they won't play dumb. Some people are just dumb.

Who knows. Personally I play a completely different game in those free tournaments. Mostly just for the fun of fucking around with webmasters.
Real money, I deposited $100 last year and cashed out around 10k from it playing part time for a few months. Haven't been able to play lately but I don't play anything to lose when money is involved.

if you want to work as a prop player every now and then let me know. I believe you get 100% of your rake back if you play $1/$2 tables or higher for a certain amount of hours. also I',m going to have buy-in 1 table tournaments all week with the house getting nothing. all buy-ins will go into the prize pool. I know it's not much but better than nothing. Also stocktrader, if you aalways have 10 or more friends who want's to play in 1 table tournaments. I will set you up on % of their rake and knock off a big chuck of yours.

yeah with these free tournaments i don't give it my full attention so I get out quick. When it's real money, you are right. a different game being played. I was thinking of having $3 buy-in tournament with unlimited $1 rebuys. that way if you really suck , you can still make it to the final table for $39...lol ![]()

Now every single adult site can have their own poker table at www.AdultPokerTour.com and we can name it after your url.
give your paying members a free poker tournament and give the winner a free month or something that doesn't cost you money. it will not only be fun, you will have them renewing with your site every month cuz your a nice and cool site owner who gives back to their paying members. cost-$0 post and I will answer any question

bdjuf, congrats on the win. I will have point standings for the full week we just had tomorrow. It's really cool to see who's good and who's ok...lol...and the top 50 points leader at the end of the month gets to play in a special tournament with our sponsors putting up BIG prizes for the winner and whoever makes the final table in that one. Then we will crown "Webmaster Poker Player of the Month" and with that you can tell anybody to STFU

The only way to truly find the 'best' poker player at GFY is for people who display/think they have talent in poker to compete seriously in some big tourney's i.e. real tournaments with big prizes, an entrance fee (so they're actually risking their own money) and preferably a lot of players (not just adult board players). In that sort of scenario most people will play to their best ability and the cream will always, over time, rise to the top.
All these tourneys with small or no prizes, no personal risk and few players genuinely good at the game prove little, as few people in them play to their full potential. There's a LOT of hands I'd play differently if I had my own money up for stake and several $k+ at stake... |
