Sure he appears to be moving forward but is that really so? In this business it's not only about making sales, it's also about retaining and rebilling.

Is that happening? While he's busy with his board persona here and every other board that will have him is anyone actually updating the sites and moving them forward in a way that keeps them retaining?

If not then it won't matter how much he dances his little jig here because in 6 months time he'll be doing the ARS boogie. These days it's all about retaining members not acting like a prat to attract the kiddies who want to make beer money.

some interesting points.

My take is that on the boards PD is a total asshole. However, whenever someone asks a question about his business, himself or a representative are very cordial even during a flame from the posts I have read.

In regards to the drama threads, it is my decision to read and participate. Half the time, I think the threads are made up for our enjoyment. This place is like an interactive soap opera.

Will his marketing tactics earn everyone?s respect?I doubt it. But, I lose more respect for the females who post their pussies, boobs or blowjob pics to entice a webmaster to send traffic to their program...JMO.

Here's a repost from the other thread:

Pimpdogg: every site you offer has competitors with just as good or better sites, and just as good or better pay outs.

If you have not yet learned the value of relationships you undoubtedly will in the not too distant future.

You and I both know that your presence on this board is tolerated because you spend $$ to advertise here. If you didn't spend the money, you would be banned permanently.

The affiliates that are attracted to your style are the broke guys living at home with momma that still think the latest TOP 10 music is cool, and still prefer to speak the latest slang instead of English like the rest of us. That crowd is very fickle. They'll turn on you in a second.

The long term webmasters that you can actually count on are a little more difficult to land. It takes good people skills and more maturity.

You'll learn. In time, you'll learn.

Donovan I don't know you from a hole in the ground but I have feelings that flow the same way. I have a hard time getting around the whole idea. I remember back when I started in this biz the best way to get some affiliates into your program was start a pissing match with serge or brad. It was good to get a bunch of small people into your program and some exposure. Since then my feelings on it have changed. There are alot of people read these boards who are heavy hitters who have never and will never post. Some of these people will read these posts and while the exposure might get a few here and there into a program on the whole they tend to shy away from these kind of tactics... I think the most important thing to remember when useing these tactics is the 90/10 rule... 90% of your affiliates who signup will never send a signup... and out of the remainder of them 90% of your joins will come from 10% of them. But also almost all of your problems will come from the 90% of them who don't send shit. Who are the people who yell and complain on the boards when a check is a couple days late? It's small webmasters. Personally I would rather have a half dozen large affiliates who know what they are doing than 1,000 little ones who bitch and complain. Large affiliates build there own ads, they call you up when there is a problem, they care about the welfare of you and your program cause it directly affects them.

just my 2 cents for the day.

newbies = new blood

new blood = agressive hard working men/women trying to succeed

inturn, some will fail, some wont

out of the ones that dont fail, there are a few that will get a great idea and capitalize on it.

point is, look at the loyal affiliates with ARS.... they have thier ups and down just like anyone, but they keep the loyal affiliates for the most part..

when a newbie comes to the biz, 9 times out of 10, they are told togo to ARS cause they have extensive tools to help anyone make a buck..

that being said, the 1st sponsor you promote(if they converts and are not shady) you will most liley stick with..

and establishing a long term relationship.

im not interested in the vetrans, i want the newbies...

i hope i made my point, and i am also drunk as shit

I can't speak for others, but my second time around jumping into this biz, I started pushing WEGCash. I converted well with them, they had great support and they communicated well with me. I had them in my sig for at least 6 months, and I still send traffic to them.
