How can you get items back on the 'most frequently used' program list?

it seems when you right click and select "remove from this list" - a program is forever removed from the "frequently recently used" program list

ive ran many programs hundreds of times after i acidentally removed em, but theyre still not showing up in the menu.. and programs ive run like 3 times are benig added..

how can i get em back?

If you're running xp you can pin a program to the start menu by right clicking on the program exe/shortcut and 'pin to start menu'
