Larry Flynt updates

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that because so many of you have requested it, we went ahead and added LegWorld.com to Hustler's affiliate program today.

And if that's not enough, Larry wants to give more $$$ away...all day on November 14th every Flynt Digital affliate will earn $75.00 per sign up on all five brand name sites...including on trials!

So stop by and see what we've been up too. http://www.FlyntDigital.com

Hope to see you in Vegas in November

Does Lens have a Log Fetish? Shit, I checked yahoo, altavista, overture, dmoz etc - couldn't find any relevant urls

Looks like a market ripe for you mate.

Any of you guys remember that English movie, a few years ago about this Bristish madame, based on a true storey, who used to put notices in local stores, French maid available to polish English Mahogonay

Last June in Vegas Hustler held a party. Myself and some other people who have a LOT more traffic then I do asked for tickets to their bash. We would have seriuosly considered promoting Hustler had we been let in, but the super smart people running the booth basically gave out tickets to the first people who asked and had none left not really even caring about people there who have a lot of traffic and could produce a LOT of money for them. We were totally snubbed. They didn't even want to talk to us - very sad. I felt it was really unprofessional and a sign that hustler is basically surviving off it's typein traffic (which would be lucritive) and support from the magazine but unable to survive if it didn't own that domaign name. Did anyone else here experience the same thing?

Get over yourself SleazyDream...

Thats exactly the kind of company respectable webmasters want to promote.

Who cares if you have 100k/day on your sorry ass TGP? You'd probably be whining less if you actually knew how to make a gallery, instead of posting galleries that have 8 pages of text, and 1 itty bitty link.

Want a sponsor that'll treat you oh so special for those x<3 signups you can bring them a day? Go to porncash.com, apparently they only pay you if you can bring in more than 50 signups a week.

Woopty Frickin Do.

They snubbed you? They ran out of tickets, and it wasn't a "I think Im badass, because I have 400k uniques a day, and am still living on foodstamps" party.

Who fucking cares... You think you guys would have made or broken their Affiliate program?

How you got this far, being that stupid, I don't think anyone will ever know.

You easily have some of the WORST galleries I have ever seen, which is why whenever I see them while reviewing, I throw them in the trash.

I suggest you take one of those adult webmasters schools, so you can learn how to actually make some money off that 400k.

Heres a couple of suggestions your big shot elitist moronic ass should take to heart.

#1 Reduce the size of your pics, 800x600? Not only are you wasting bandwidth, you're making people scroll on their 800x600 screen, to the right just to see a pic, atleast reduce it ot 700x500... Need help on how to do that?

#2 Umm, straight banners dont get the CTR's they used to, add text underneath each one... so they have a reason to look at it.

#3 Ever heard of niches? promoting a celeb site on a hardcore gallery page... you've gotta be banking... er er...

#4 Think you make the surfers/reviewers scroll enough? Page made me scroll 3 times on my 1280x1024.

#5 Learn how to actually design an attractive gallery, your fucking 2 pages of text for AFF isnt anywhere near the top, they have to scroll one full page to see it.

How in the hell do you pay for bandwidth with a site like yours?

Wouldnt be suprised if all those pics were from other peoples galleries too... =)

You can't be making more than 500 bucks a month with skills like yours.

Not crying about if I made the party or not, but the reps at the actual booth werent really too informed as to why they should be there. Perhaps they should give passes to there little gatherings first to the webmasters that push them.

Then invite the outside world.
The reps didnt even know who there top webmasters were, and actually didnt care.

In fact I knew several of them didnt even get the little pass to their bar gathering. Thought it was kinda strange, but the attitude suronding them was no secret among people in Vegas last June.

I wasnt one of those people, but many people I heard from had the same story.

Like has been said here time and time again, why dwell on whos party you cant get into?

There are soo many parties, just enjoy the ones and appreciate the people whos parties YOU DO get to go to.

CC Bill is always great at parties, and if you want a good crowd Id say check them out.

Also check out the topbucks booth. Another good bunch of people.. Just ask em for a pass at the booth.

Yes, the adult.com party was my favorite of all last June.

It was cool meeting everyone and wasnt too crowded.

It was also cool at the Naughty Maids Disco at Club Utopia hangin with the homies in the VIP area upstairs.

I still have the stains in my pants form when Wizzo was on my lap.

Guys,

Let me clear up a few things about Hustler/FlyntDigital

1. Prior to January of this year, their Internet division was a mess.

2. We (WebQuest) took over the entire operation and have been running it ever since.

3. We are also affiliated with CashQuest, Jettis.com and Search123.com. We've been in the business for quite a while and know what we are doing....

To address the issues that were brought up.....

We did not snub anyone for our party in Las Vegas. We simply ran out of tickets. In fact, we had more tickets printed while we were at the show, but quickly ran out of those as well. The big mistake we made was that we underestimated how many people would attend the party and for that, I apologize. We would have been more than happy to have every single webmaster join us, but the venue we selected could only hold 250 people at a time. They even broke the rules for us and allowed 350 at one point (way over their fire code restrictions). So, we will not make that mistake again. That's why we have co-sponsored the Gameworks Party this year with MaxCash and ARS. ALL webmasters who attend the show are invited and nobody will be turned away!!!!!

There were several people working the Hustler booth. Our staff was there (Amber, Bruce and I) and we treated every webmaster, big or small, as we always have, with complete respect. However, there were also several people there from LFP corporate. If you spoke with one of them, you could have easily walked away with the feeling that they were not "in the loop". They are there to help out, but do not have a lot of experience on the Internet (that's why they hired us). We apologize if any of you felt snubbed or walked away with a bad taste in your mouth. That's simply not our style.

Hustler is a great brand name, we all know that. WebQuest know's how to take good care of webmasters, that is a fact. The combination makes for a phenomenal webmaster program - FlyntDigital.com.

Why choose FlyntDigita? Simple - Great Conversion and you will NEVER have to worry about getting paid. Larry Flynt signs the checks and that's about as good as it gets.

Again, we apologize if any of you got a bad taste in your mouth at the January show. We had just taken over the operation and were still ironing out the kinks. Please stop by this January and say hello. We'll have some very nice give aways and we would love to talk to all of you about doing biz together.

Also, make sure you stop by our Gameworks Party and have some fun and drinks on us!!!

DrewKole, thank you. But we are ALWAYS open to discussion...and welcome anyone's options, especially negative ones because that's what helps us improve the program for everyone.

Snow...you've go mail.

Naughty, regarding the blur consoles, we have pop-up blur consoles that open up behind the site when the surfer enters the first tour page. The advantage to us for doing this is that the console will already be fully open when the surfer leaves. With a standard exit console many surfers will shut the console down before even looking at it. We have analyzed the results with and without these consoles and have not noticed any difference in affiliate sign-ups.

Our first priority has always been and will always be to make our webmasters happy. If our consoles hurt conversions in any way, we would remove them from all the sites immediately. The money we make from this is nothing compared to losing webmasters and losing sign-ups to our own sites.

Additionally, as a Flynt Digital affiliate, the advantage to you is that you are paid for the traffic that moves between the five Flynt Digital sites (Hustler.com, BarelyLegal.com, BustyBeauties.com, Hometowngirls.com and LegWorld.com). For example, when the surfer exits the Hustler.com site, the top banner spot on the blur console is for BarelyLegal.com and the second banner is for BustyBeauties.com and so on....all of those Flynt Digital banner spots carry your affiliate link code so you get full credit for your traffic that signs up to any of those sites as well. I hope this is helpful and answers your questions.

SleazyDream, my apologies as well that you felt slighted at the June show. Please stop by the booth in January and ask for me, I would appreciate the opportunity to shake your hand and apologize in person.

To follow-up on Ken's post...the GameWorks party details are here: http://www.flyntdigital.com/party/

Hope you come out and join us for A LOT of fun!!

Ken:

My point was your people gave out tickets to ANYONE who asked. Is it smart business sense to treat someone who walks up to you and says I might be thinking of starting a website and giving them more attention then a high traffic advertiser? Sure it's nice, but I was speaking to someone from your booth and someone walked up and the guy I was speaking to instantly left me to talk to a person who said basically that. This was last JUNE, not Janruary. It just make me shake my head is all.... seemed very very weird. No big deal though.
You can run your business any way you want, just that it felt very different is all. Most parties kinda pick and choose who they want (target market) not saying you'd want me there but a lot of other high traffic guys got the same response - the shotgun first come first serve approach seemed very odd.

Sleazy, you gotta be able to enhance the presence of the other people there. Just because you think you're somebody, doesn't necessarily mean you get a ticket.

SleazyDream, I don't completely disagree with you, we should have done a better job with the party invites in June because even one unhappy person is unacceptable to us. Our philosophy is, and has always been, to treat everyone with respect...period. (But secretly, and don't tell anyone, the high traffic webmasters get weekly massages from me ;>).

We opened the affiliate program to the public in May and that was our first "semi-big" party. We still had some party kinks to work out but you can expect this January's party to be the highlight of the show! EVERYONE is invited and welcome to throw-down with us (no pun intended ;>).

And I have to post about Ken...you will be very hard pressed to find any webmaster or sponsor as honest or ethical as he is! I have been running my own sites (over 500 of them, although I'm not content on any of them) since 1995. I represent and work with WebQuest, FlyntDigital and Ken because there is no one better in the business. Okay, I'll get off the horse now. ;)

SleazyDream, I look forward to meeting you too and I'll be looking for your hat! I'll be the girl with really long hair...that hasn't got enough sleep. But since that describes over half of the people that will be there, here's my picture: www.toonerotica.com/amber.jpg

Kmanrox...you know I love you too!

SleazyDream,

I understand what you're saying, but from my perspective, some of the little guys of today will be the big boys next year. Everyone starts out small...including you and me

We have some very large webmasters who are loyal to us because they remember that I personally answered their e-mail at 1:00am in the morning when they were only sending us 2 sign-ups a month. I treat all webmasters with the same respect. You never know who they will grow up to be

We take good care of our large webmasters with higher payouts, pre-pay deals, rev share, etc.

Parties are meant so socialize, meet new people and have a good time. I don't see the point in excluding ANYONE.

We made a mistake at the last show and we regret it. However, that won't happen again as EVERYONE is invited to our next party. Hope to see you there! The Game Works party is a REALLY good time!

Amber - Thanks for the good words and thanks for posting the party info
