what brad doesn't get is the sad part is, I could actually buy a 1/2 million dollar house..... (without a mortage)- and a 1/2 million dollar house HERE would be 3X larger than Brad's house due to real estste prices here....hell I own a quarter million dollar cottage as well. Sleazy, real estate is a great sound investment. Especially with rates of under 4%. I would bet my furnishings cost more than your house. I can reccomend a good interior decorator.

well depends on how you look at it. I see it was the last major asset I'll sell. for retirement first I'll live off unregistered money and the sale of my business, then RRSPs (equivlant to IRA's for americans), then liquadate the cash value of my life insurance policies and then finally (hopefully this is in my 80's) I'll sell the house to move into a retirement home.
