Check out my Portfolio and check around. I used to do JUST gallerya nd freesite submissions. I made good money on them but realized I can't put all eggs in one basket and moved away from them. After which, my own projects should have matured, word of mouth for my own design company should spread more and I can feel more comfortable and chase bigger things again.

burgerking nightshift manager $8.50 an hour 50 hour weeks with $12.75 for the extra 10 hours a week overtime

two months average out to 9 weeks

( 8.5x40 + 12.75x10 ) x 9weeks = $4207.50

Congrats, if you get up to 5k in two months you'll be making 400 a month more than a Burger King nightshift manager, the good life man... the good life

It really sounds like you're spreading yourself too thin... I can see what you mean about reducing risk, but this is also an inherently risky business and if it decides to, providence will still ass fuck you no matter what you do... you'll make more money if you specialize in one or two things, really work them hard and master them.

You've been doing it for more then 1 month from what I can tell, you should be at least making $2500/month from design by this point without much effort marketing yourself. I'll keep you in mind to send referrals to the next time someone's looking for work though.
