For Hooper to so boldly make statements like he has on this thread, you do have to assume he knows something.

Also, why no counter posts from CCB yet????

I would usually agree with you DP

but for two reasons.

1) 2003 was the year of the failing processor. how many fell? 3? 4? So the idea of another falling is not so outlandish.

2) The NUMBER ONE indicator that a processor is going to fail is.... *drumroll*

SILENCE

Perhaps it's something like an osterich sticking it's head in the ground?

I guess that would be true in a situation where CCbill would have at least tried to defend them selves. CCbill really needs to make a statment if its all bull.

As said before you wont get an xbox for posting so much in your own thread. I have processed through ccbill for the past 2 years (1 year first with ibill) and I don't get why ppl are on Ibill's back either, for me ccbill simply offered me services that Ibill couldnt which is why I switched. I have been very happy with ccb through the years, the phone support is really ok and mail support likewise. The two times I have seen drastic changes to their interfaces a few bugs have followed but it has been minimal. Checks/wires arrive on time every time so I just dont see any signs at all that would point to them going out of business.

Personally I dont see why anyone would start a thread like this, and then keep posting in it. First you are like "I'm just saying Im pulling out bla bla bla" and still you keep posting and defending and accusing and explaining...
Hope you can take it if you are sure it isn't but, smells like bullshit to me

Come on Hoop, this just gets more whacked every time I look at it.

Out of the processors that 'fell' as you call it last year, how many were 'pushed over the cliff' by Visa for refusing to comply with their regulations and rules?

I'll answer that... EVERY ONE of them. Epoch, Jettis, Ibill and yes, CCBill, are all properly structured and in compliance with Visa so they were not targets.

Add to that the fact that processors go out of business all the time -- shall I remind the board readers of DMR, Digiblaze, MSBill, and a couple of other smaller ones that went out of business well before last year?

As for silence, tell me who has really been loud and vocal at CCBill since I left? Corvett does a bit of posting but why would he post here in this thread? What else can or would CCBill say but that they aren't going out of business?

There are three sides to every story, this much I know. And while I don't know the sides to this one particularly, it seems that tempers might have gotten out of hand and we've now got the porn version of the Cuban Missile Crisis started up...

CCBill isn't going under, everyone shoulda used Quickbuck, it's just another sunny Thursday at the beach. Let's all get to work and make a few more dollars today...

i'm not going to point fingers.

you should process wherever you feel most confident that you'll get your money.
The man has a good track record thus far (see above =), i'd suggest taking it for what it is (hint hint) and make some desicsions as to where you will be processing in the future.

Hello, I am new here but I couldn't contain myself.

The guy who said there was a 250K limit has been misinformed, and I didn't see any examples so I thought I would help out:

1) Dish Network has over 7 million subscribers worldwide. They say that over 50% use autopay though their credit cards.

3.5 million users times the BASE rate of $29.99 = 104,965,000

per month. Just a thought.

What about chain stores? Sears limited to 250Kbux? I think perhaps not.

Amazon.com has yet to refuse to sell me something because they went over their processing limit. What must THEY process a month?

I appreciate the opportunity to post here. Thanks for listening.

Spoink

If I were Ron I would have called my Laywer already based on your post. You have tread a very fine line here in my opinion.

People start pulling their business based on your remarks in this thread one could argue your "speculation" cost them business. This was a very irresponsible post by a vet in the business if you ask me.

I hope no one goes under its bad for all of us . What I dont understand if you are processing gorilla numbers , why not your own merchant account and just use the gateway? You owning the database would seem worth it to me. Also I would bet you verotel is just hustlers gateway.

You are wrong! They are a processor. They process transactions. Just because they are not a "3rd party processor" doesn't mean that they are not a processor. I know my moeny is safe with them.

Five years of CCbill's solid support and not one missed payment has earned my trust.

That's how we feel, too, Steve....I am surprised by this thread....we've been with them for six years now.....not a single hint of trouble and never a missed payment, plus excellent service......

Things that make me go hmmm...

i'm not going to point fingers.

you should process wherever you feel most confident that you'll get your money.
This thread looks like a pointed finger to me... why would you even start a thread like this if you have no reasoning behind it, honestly...?

we'll see in a year i guess.

in the mean time we'll be taking all of our processing away from ccbill as a precaution.

Well they are like the only one left.. so not much insight on your part to say that they will be next...
