Heh... I find that Visa/Mastercard statement to be one of the funniest things I've heard all day :1orglaugh

I didn't mean to be rude, but that was a pretty rediculous statement, and I had a hard time keeping my ass in my chair. |
I would move everything over to DMR

i worked for arlo. and he is a smart business man. i could only think of two reasons he would post this.
a) he knows something the rest of us dont. b) he wanted to piss in thier cheerios. id go with a. people like lightspeed come in here spouting about what ccbill told him last week. just think about that for a second. no one is going to tell you the boat is sinking before it does. they will just keep on keeping on. however, i personaly think epoch or ibill will be next to fall. epoch for thier lack enforcement on cross sales and non-disclosure, they were basically letting thier larger clients get away with shitloads of shady shit. and still are. i dunno too much about iBill but i do know they have lost a lot of business over the last few years. i think sms billing and other methods will be on the rise very rapidly. with the bush administration poised to do this business in, i forsee visa and MC cracking down on us harder and harder. again, these are just MY thoughts and opinions. |

Mike,
not to throw shit in the fire, but I gotta admit in yrs. past you have done your ball busting on ccbill... |
Quote:
Please tell me you are joking? If not what was all this about? |
Keep in mind..
Epoch was one of the few processors who kicked out programs with high chargebacks and countless problems several years ago. iBill opened their doors by saying.. COME ONE COME ALL! iBill can kiss my ass, they fucked me 3 times in 2003 for 15k and all of it was their screw ups. I send 90% of my sales to Epoch and 10% to CCBill. |

hmm
ccbill has been very conservative in comparison to other billing company's.. id find it hard to believe they would go under.. |

Hoop, I love you (amazing we've come that far lol), and I dont think you meant to start this like it is, and you know what? I havent read anything past the post I quoted -- if its all over and done with then I apologize for dragging it on but you are quick to temper and so am I :) So now I'm gonna go back and read and if I owe you an apology when I'm done, then you'll get it. |

this is about ccbill, i was merely pointing out that they arent as professional as they would like us to believe in response to all the "ccbill is a conservative bastion of moral and financial righteousness" posts.
all i'm pointing out is that everybody has a history. good thing about being me is that nobody has to prove i'm a dick.. it's obvious :) |

Wow this is a funny post.
I don't know about Hoopers statements about CCbill but this I do know: 1. Adult internet is a small, small, small part of Visa's revenue. They give fuck all about us in the grand scheme of things. 2. Of course you can process over 250K a month with either Visa/MC. Shit if that was the most a company could process none of us would be around. I know AFFILIATES that make that much, let alone a whole program. 3. Most large programs use 3rd party billing and they do millions per month. There's isn't anything stupid about using a 3rd party biller if you're doing 3 million a month. Hustler processes with Jettis in fact. Just my :2 cents: |

Woah shit, monkeys are flying out of my ass.
|
at least be forthright about why most of the biggest programs use 3rd party billing and how they wound up using it.
but i agree, the 250k cap is something that was just pulled out of somebody's butt. |

But they are techniqually 2 totally seperate companies I think. But I don't know for sure, not my department, lol |
A lot of programs that do millions a month still use a third party processor. They just negotiate the rate much lower than everyone else.
Just think for a second.... if you are moving millions a month and have a nice rate through a third party that TAKES ALL THE RISKS FOR YOU, don't you think you'd do it? No question. |
I cannot fucking believe some guys making money in porn. I would not be surprised if CCBill would sue your ass Hooper.
If they were go under they can actually claim it was part fault of a slander post by you on the biggest adult webmaster board and you would be liable as many non adult judgements have proven. Your post obviously is just done to hurt them because you are pissed you have to change processors. If CCBill would have to go out of CC processing there would be others to fall as well with no 3rd party CC billing left. Checks, 900 billing and dialers would be the only alternatives to bill and if I remember right CCBill offers all 3 of those options. |

CCBill actually processes for your celeb sites? Hmmmmm..... |
