None of the above.
I think wine the price performance ratio is fairly stable, so my answer would be the most expensive one.

![]() I have tasted some more expensive wine than the one i ahve usually and it wasn't always better. My best one so far was the Black Label from Wolf Blass (about 70$ here) and I ever tasted some at 150, even 200 and they were not better, to me at least. Not so many people can tell you the diference between a 50$ and a 200$ wine (blindfolded). I know that some expensive wine here are very affordable in the US, the yellow label that you can buy at Costco for 10 (which is very very good by the way) is sold almost 20$ here ... |

Wine is horribly over-priced in the US (local and import). I enjoy Bordeaux reds (clarets) and in the UK I can get a really good Haut-Médoc for around $15. Here in the US I could pay anything from $25-$40 for something fairly mediochre.
There are a lot of very nice Italian, Australian and South American reds too, but if they get to the US, the prices are again high. In my part of the mid-west I'm lucky to find any at all ![]() |

I drink fairly priced Italian and Spanish wine. Here in Europe, you can get a good bottle for maybe 5 Euro.

I've been on a major 2001 Shiraz kick lately... You can find some great bottles for $10-$15
