p1mpdogg, I challenge you

to an intelligent debate.
You claim that your board persona isn't anything like the real you. You claim that you're a smart and professional businessman. Prove it. I have some questions I'd like to ask you. Let's see if you can answer them without resorting to board drama and below-the-belt attacks. I don't think you can. Prove me wrong.

The words "intelligent debate" and "pimpdog" just don't go together.

OK, you must have noticed that people are getting really reluctant to post here. I have, anyway, people are starting to gravitate to other boards now. I can't speak for all of them, but I know that a few of them don't want to post here any more, because of all the drama threads that you start. Don't you think your marketing strategy is starting to implode?

excellent question

answer is yes and no..

we discussed this today, and I will be taking a short break for awhile so you people can absorb the last week and chill out.

I know i go crazy sometimes and get people all worked up.. I know i go to far sometimes.. thats just me, i think its funny, but some people can not handle it.

bottom line is this..

you me and everyone else is here to make money.

with the competitve market this is today, you gotta get attention to your program somehow... this worked for me and has treated me well.. at the same time, I have lost some ppl that would normally promote me.. so it has its draw backs... you have to sacrifice a few cattle to save the heard so to speak.. thats all this is..

It is a business, not a family get together...

I agree it's not a family get-together. But this isn't treating it like a business, either. It's not even on the level of an elementary school playground.

People will get worked up if you attack them personally, though, and you've made it pretty personal with quite a few. I think there might be more people who won't promote Epic Cash because of your board attitude than you think. Another point is that some might even take it so personally that they come looking for you...there are quite a few unbalanced people here, I wouldn't put it past some to want to stick a knife into you. Doesn't that worry you?

The question is, what kind of new affiliates are you gaining, versus what kind of old affiliates are you losing? 'Cause if you gain a shitload of new small ones and lose a few big ones, that might just mean negative balance for you, in the long run. But I suppose this is more or less rhetorical, I'm sure you wouldn't be doing this unless it would turn out profitable for you. Or at least thinking it did. Unless you really enjoyed being an asshole.

That's another question I wanted to ask, yes. (without the asshole part, let's try and keep this thread civil )

does it really matter who i gain and lose as long as my numbers rise?

Im not here for you, I am here for me.

I pay my webmasters ontime everytime. they cant complain about that. we convert. if they choose to leave me becuase of sometihng i said, then they are idiots.

programs are a dime a dozen.. let them go and try other porgrams, if they make more with them than me then great..

our hits match up with out clicks, we dont shave(why we pay out $25) and we have killer support.

what more do you people want? suit and tie and kiss your ass? no sorry, not with me.

The problem is you honestly believe that you gained those affiliates because you act like this when that's not the case. The ones you do gain based on this bullshit are negligible. However you are losing at the same time, and you're not losing just average newbies like you gain.

The bottom line is if your program is the shit and you have the shit, then you don't have to bullshit to a ridiculously stupid extent of racism, false accusations and so on to make your stuff blow up.

All money is not smart money and I don't think you're going for the smart money. Man to man that's the truth.

If I get knifed some day, then shit happens.. business is about risk.. the more risk the more the pay off...

I put my ass on the line every day in any places.. so far everything has workd out and everyone is making money. you cant argue with that

No, I can't. But I really do believe that, in the long run anyway, you'll be making less than you could have made.

excellent post, and you proved my point...

which is why i have reached a pinnacle almost.. at some point I will top out and cant do much more.. so I hit it hard get the name out and let the word spread. I am not an idiot.. if you agree or not, it doesnt affect my plan..

I know this wont last forever, that is why I will milk it for all its worth. I have achieved more in a year than many programs have achieved in 3...

What I'd want from you, and any other sponsor for that matter, is not suit and tie and kiss my ass. I don't trust people trying ot kiss my ass. But I would expect that particular sponsor to treat me with respect, like the human being and partner in business that I am, not like a dumb sheep, like the rest of the sig whores on here.

It's simple, if you cannot be bothered to treat me with some decency, but need to resort to name calling and insults, then you're not getting my traffic. It might be big, it might be small, that's for me to know and for you to find out. But for the traffic I don't send you, there will be quite a few others whom I will advise not to send you any, because I do not think you can treat people decently.

This strategy might work out well for you, for the time being, but it may also come back and bite you in the ass later on. I will not try to speculate on how your program or your PR skills will develop over time, I am simply offering you my opinion on the matter, regarding the present situation. Take it for what it is.

you need to learn how to seperate biz from games. I treat my affiliates good. the ones that dont cheat me or fuck around get my full attention and I address thier needs.

Am i racist? lol, god no... I say it to get the blood flowing.. no matter what, Epic is on your mind and everyone elses.. you will tell bob that I am a dick, and bob will say really? let me check it out and send some traffic, he makes good money and becomes loyal.. it goes both ways...

I dont see a present situation as you do.. I see another night on gfy and 14 affiliates that signed up from here.. sorry if you are offended or dont trust me... there are 14 more that did....

I think so too. From what I've heard it really is a good program, and I've often been tempted to sign up.

I'd like to see the difference between your current marketing plan and EC using the GFY customization deal we saw here a month or so ago.

I wonder which will produce better results.

Don't be sorry. Be decent. I treat you with respect, I expect the same from you. Sure, attacking me in public will most likely get you the attention you need, for the moment, and as you said it, it may get you the next Hun or PK as an affiliate, but it's a gamble. Some might call it foolish, some might call it calculated risk. In the end, money talks and bullshit walks, so you're the only one who can accurately measure the results of your actions. If it works out and makes you money, more power to you. If it doesn't, you might just have stepped on so many toes that it would be hard to get back to where you were. And again, as far as I'm concerned, I've always treated you with respect and decency and I expect the same from you. Good luck with your future endevours.

Yes and no. Of course I can see past the bullshit, yes, you can't get to where you are by being an idiot. It's more fear of being burned...a side effect of your attitude is that you come across as unstable. Also, you go after big names in a big way, and I can't help but wonder what will happen if enough of them get pissed off enough to band together against EC.

I don't quite know what it's called... it's where all of GFY's design is adjusted to reflect the colors of a sponsor, and there are buttons on like every 3rd post or some shit.

GFY is like totally customized.

Know what I mean?

explain why sic cash is still sending me traffic? Big companies do not want to risk the liablility.. this is business. not a union.. programs are competetive, they dont 'band' together to force an upcommer out.. it just doesnt happen.

when i can make them money, and vise versa, then that is all that matters.. I want brad shaw dead.. but will i cash his checks? damn right. he isnt stupid... thats why Im still paying him for joins

I am just using sic cash as an example since that seems to be the GFY drama between sic cash and epic that people will recognize

Well, seriously, keep us posted (or me) I would really like to know which will provide the most results:

constant program attendance (drama) or

program propoganda (skin)

OK, you've proven me wrong. I seriously didn't think you could do it, I thought your persona had gotten the best of you.

Yeah, it was It's good to have a thread with a normal conversation once in a while. Now I think I'll start one where I can swear and rant, though
