65" toshiba HDTV

not shown are my two matching leather lazyboy recliners - a wide ass one and regular one. both with heat, massague, and air lumbar rollers.

definatly worth the investment choker. I love mine. You never want to goto the theatre again.

do not cheap out on the cables though with a big screen, you will notice the difference with glass injected cables and make sure you got a digital sat or cable signal or the picture will suck on a screen that size.

Sorry for the bad pics, my kid has my good camera.
If you have the room, HD projection is the way to go.

Denon 5803 THX certified Dolby 7.1 Surround
Sharpvision HD Projector
B&W Speakers
Matched Denon Progressive DVD [single tray]
Hughes HDTV Satellite
HT Godfather Theater Seats

very comfy

If you can't project, I agree with the WEGA

oops, forgot the chair

My 70' Sony Grand Wega XBR arrives on the 18th.

I can't wait.

I'm converting my master bedroom to a home theatre.

Cheapest projector I found is a Yamaha for $5500 but the screen costs $1500. So I think I will just go with the 65 inch Mitsubitshi HDwidescreen for $2400 at Best Buy. I like the couches like Sleazy has, but you end up paying double the price for those couches with the drinkholders in them versus the exact same regular couch. Two reclining leather couches should be about $2000. I figure $500 for someone to build me a platform for the back row/couch. I could not find 5 disc DVD player that plays DVD-RW so I may have to use a regular DVD player. I figure total cost is going to be about $6000 and would seat 6 people. It's mostly for my kids and their friends anyway.

outstanding Choker, the way my family room is set up I can not do it theater style, but do have a big screen HDTV with surround with 5 disc DVD. Get the movie theater popcorn thing and you will be set.

Now THIS is a nice rig. Denon 5803 with B&W speakers is a nice combo. Very smooth for a non-preamped setup. The denon dvd player is overkill tho

British speakers are so much better to my ears it's amazing.

No argument TDJ....but I got it !cheap!
[it was ordered for a football players install, and he changed his mind...the Audio store friend had to get rid of it]

The B&W sub and center smoked the Martin Logans I wanted to put on the fronts.....

I agree with who said to look elsewhere besides a national chain for top of the line stuff....choker...find a specialty dealer, you might be pleasantly surprised at the price and particularly the follow up service.
I built and installed everything myself, and the dealer [Audio Visions, where i bought everything], came out and helped me install the screen, and "tweak" the system as well as all the remote stuff [touchscreen]

BTW...I love the WEGA you have
