PC memory question
I have 256mb memory in my new computer and just picked up a 512 card today, can I use both or do I have to use the same amounts of each? Like 256+256 or 512+512

If it's compatible with your motherboard and there's a free slot then slam that shit in!

Well some boards have dual channel slots (they usually have matched color plastic at the base)
If this is the case I would put the ram in 2 DIFFERENT color slots becasue usually the matching slots are to run the ram in dual channel mode. Its not absolutely necessary but it's a good idea.
